Unfortunately, the Michigan State Police made a mistake on my background check, and after I moved to Ecuador, the Ecuador Immigration Department rejected my Michigan background check and therefore my visa application. I called Chris from Ecuador, and Chris contacted the Michigan State Police several times for me and convinced them to re-issue my background check. I was really stuck and if not for Chris, I would have had to fly back to the States to correct the MSP's error (at a cost of $1,000+).
