I had a great experience bringing my Honda here for servicing! It was easy to call & make an appointment for the next morning, and everyone I talked to (making appointment, guiding me where to park, check-in) was super nice, even to an airhead that knows nothing about cars. :p For a full 1115,000 mile recommended servicing with an engine coolant refill, brake inspection, oil change, multi-point inspection, tire rotation and (optional) throttle body cleaning service to help with mileage efficiency, the total w/ tax was $392. There were cheaper options, too, but I wanted everything done. The wait was less than 2 hours, and I actually enjoyed myself at my own 4-seat table with freshly ground & brewed local coffee and choice of x3 types of toasted bagels and cream cheese. The music was catchy and some people were even bopping around in their seats. There was a free shuttle I could have taken home if I had wanted, too. After the service, everything was patiently explained to me, so I was really pleased!

Unfortunately dealerships are always more expensive than taking them to a local repair shop. I agree that some people can find it a bit of a rip off specially when you're trying to get your basic car services such as a tune up or alignment. The reason for the stars are for a the following reasons (I am discussing Toyota car dealership and not Honda Dealership) I appreciate that the Toyota dealership staff is always helpful and really friendly, they are willing to answer any of your questions even if that means just to get a quote on tires which can also go for a pretty high price. In the past they used to service your car with a car wash if you had the mile services plan, sadly they stopped doing that. I have never had a rude representative at this location actually the opposite most staff is usually in a calm, funny, relaxed mood. This morning I called too early and left a voicemail thinking they were closed. Thankfully I made called again and found out they were open, I made my way over there and think to myself should I tell them to ignore the voicemail I just left? "Naw they haven't called me so I bet they figured I had just called back" but as I was sitting in the waiting room I receive a call from Mid City World and the lady at the front desks says Hi I just want you to know we are open" such a sweet lady and I respond " Thanks but Idid figure it out and by the way I am sitting right across from you" we both end up having a good laugh! That is just one example of how this location has always gone out of their way to ask if you have been help, or if they can help you with anything. Sadly at the moment they are only offering coffee and water they no longer offering bagels etc. which makes totally sense :-) Ever since I have stopped by here the carousel always seems to be turned off :-( it also makes sense why it would be shut off right now. I am on the fence about extended warranty, if it wasn't because I was naive and had done no research , I more than likely would have gone with a local shop. One last thing, I appreciate that this dealership is a perfect location for someone who does not wish to wait long to get their car service, they offer shuttle services (co-vid closure) or a waiting area, but better yet for those who can not sit still and would rather go on a nice walk, right by the car entrance or the exit of the dealership there is a parking area where people can go for a walk. I have yet to explore this option :-)

When I stopped in at Wayne's he was extremely busy too, but he was friendly and took the time to make sure I had all my questions answered. He even answered a couple of my calls after-hours when I came up with more questions. It was painfully obvious that I know very little about cars, but Wayne was very helpful and answered everything without any hint of condescension. Whereas most mechanics I've been to tend to say, "Well, that part does [insert unintelligible mechanic-language here]." Since I have no idea how much most parts tend to cost, I went to Google to compare his estimate with prices I could find. Turns out, he's actually quite reasonable! Another thumbs up for Wayne. I went back in a couple of days later to see how things were going on my vehicle. (There were multiple jobs ahead of mine, and due to safety concerns with the car, I just left it at Wayne's.) Wayne and I started talking, turns out he's a really cool, honest guy. There were several things I wanted to have done where he would say, "I could do that for you, but I don't really do a lot of that here. [Insert Name] down the street could do that for less and probably do a better job." What? I don't think I've ever heard a mechanic say that. Last I checked, most people would go ahead and do the requested task without saying "So-and-so down the street would do that for less." Fantastic service!

In great need of our vehicle for work, we pulled into the local Chevrolet dealership. Due to it being late in the evening, they told us they could not help us, but very politely and with confidence referred us to Pro Pacific Auto Repair. That says a lot and puts great integrity into the review I am leaving about Pro Pacific Auto Repair. Upon arriving at Pro Pacific Auto Repair in Eureka, CA, we were greeted by a very nice service advisor who was very understanding to our situation, with it being 4:30pm and with the issue we were facing. Another gentlemen said he would put a code reader on the car and let us know what the problem with the vehicle was. He immediately advised us of the problem, which was an issue with the fuel system. This gentlemen, Mike Bates, who turned out to be the owner of Pro Pacific, could not have more comforting, friendly, professional and most importantly determined to get us back on the road. He and his staff immediately jumped on the problem, they stayed overtime, and within one hour had us back on the road. The best part of this experience was the honesty and integrity in diagnosing the problem, and the integrity in the cost of fixing the issue. I say this with great conviction, "that you all in Eureka are very lucky to have a great company like Pro Pacific Auto Repair." A Big Thanks to the entire staff, especially Mike and Ford and the two wonderful service advisors. Bless You All and next time we are in town we stopping by, hopefully to just say "Hello,"

They figured out two different, unrelated problems that were happening suddenly at the same time. I'm so grateful they took the time to ask the questions and do the testing. They clipped the piece of molding back on for me, and didn't charge me. Since I had been here before, I also asked them to do another oil change. When I picked up the car from the oil change, there was a problem. The oil pressure light, and the check engine light were on. The oil level was good, so I took the car home, and then the following morning, I took the car into a separate shop for a second opinion on what was wrong When they ran the check engine light, it said that the oil pressure sensor was stuck. Apparently what had happened, was during the oil change, a prong from the oil filter had broken loose,, and it was blocking the oil pressure sensor. I went back to Firestone and spoke to the manager. I'm sorry I didn't write down his name He called over to the second shop where my car was, and the mechanic at the second shop explained in detail what had happened. Based on the situation and the explanation, the manager. At Firestone agreed to cover the cost of Getting my car fixed. The sensor situation was fixed with no out-of-pocket cost to myself. As I mentioned, I had been here for oil changes, quite a few times before, and nothing had ever happened. I get it, unfortunately, sometimes things happen. It's not that something happened, it's how the shop handled the situation. They absolutely took care of it to my satisfaction, I got my car fixed, and I would still bring it in for an oil change again. Thank you for taking care of me.
