I called on Thursday for the same reason. I called again on Friday to find out where my prescriptions are. Each time, I had to leave a voicemail for three different people. It is Friday afternoon and still no return phone call and no prescriptions called in. What is wrong with this office, and with Dr Brennen's ability to find professional staff.

A phone representative had told me that my medicaid would cover what I needed done. I even explained in detail- I had some skin tags that needed to be removed. "It was a sham" After filling out all the paper work & time spent to see the Doctor, they told me it would cost $200.00 per skin tag removal. Whey did you not tell me this before my appointment in the office at the desk and after I was told over the phone my Insurance would pay for it! I would have never gone to Advanced Dermatology 200 Southpark Blvd St Augustine Beach FL 32086! My referral was even sent from my PCP What a Disappointment. Let the Truth be Told.. After their appointments, a woman in the waiting room started harassing them for not sitting down. They were polite and explained they were waiting for someone. She could see there was no one at the front desk. She started insulting them and told them to go wait outside. She was so strange that they left and came out to the car without conducting their business. I went back in to see what was happening and there still wasn't anyone at the front desk. The provider stepped out and started talking about setting more appointments but I wanted to know why my children were chased out of their doctor's waiting room by some crazy woman. The provider said the woman wanted them to sit down and wait opposed to standing at the front desk. She asked me to call back and report the woman to the manager because she had no control over the people in their waiting room. I called but the office manager was high strung and making excuses for what happened. They did refund our money for the last appt we didn't set but it was not the full amount. They struggle with computers and payments and make excuses for that too. This was not the professional, calm experience we expected from a drs office. I think this office is geared towards vanity services and product sales and not actual patient care dermatology. Lesson learned. We will not be back. There are many professional dermatologists in the area who can provide a safe environment for their patients.

MOHS surgery day can be long and a bit crowded but it's like this at every Dermatologist office. Dr Kantor was recommended by my PCP for his excellent care of trouble skin. The office was really busy, and I didn't want to be a sheeple just seeing him because everyone does. As a matter of fact, I wanted to see the plastic surgeon that my friend saw but I don't have that kind of money. Now I am so glad I went to Dr. Kantor. My scar looks better than hers. She is sore about it too. He is more down to earth than I expected and funny. He seems to do a whole routine the entire time you are getting MOHS. I felt a lot more comfortable having him do it after I saw the before and after picture. Then I found out that he is a cosmetic doctor and one of those doctor that builds peoples face back up. He even has a book! Now Barbara and I both go to him and it is not just because he is cute, like a much older George Clooney, but you really can't see the scar and now it makes sense why he is so busy.
