Our son was bullied and harassed so bad that we had to enroll him in another school. The principal Mr. Will Summer did nothing about it. We requested all of our son's school supplies we bought to be returned back to us, but they kept almost all the materials. They are so petty that the little stuff they returned back to us was switched from name brand stuff with Amazon or Walmart brands. They are so low that they kept our son's school supplies outside on top of a chair with a paper stuck with our name stuck to the box. DON'T SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL!! THEY ARE THIEVES!! THEY DON"T PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN FROM HARM!!

This auditorium is old but is in great shape, well maintained and full of school history which is depicted in the amazing artwork painted on the lobby walls. The AC was on the entire time and worked perfectly. The seats are old and original but comfortable and in great condition. The sound system worked great and the acoustics surrounding the stage were excellent as the sound of the music heard throughout the entire auditorium was perfect.

I attended a luau show and it felt like they went the extra mile by creating a humid environment inside there which was totally unnecessary. At one point the emcee made a joke saying to please turn on the air conditioner, but we were all feeling the same way. There's plenty of room inside here and there's even balcony seating. There were armed guards at the event for security so I felt safe.

This is a highly sought after institution for good reason: their outstanding college readiness scores tell the story. This is a demanding school but it is also highly creative and inclusive, encouraging a culture of collaboration as well as independence. Students build skills that will use the rest of their lives, developing important friendships along the way as they learn and create. While we enjoyed the work and performances of all 17 specialties, the Popular Music and Culinary Arts conservatories were especially close to our hearts. We attended performances for music, dance and theater, thoroughly enjoyed the "Throw Down" in the Culinary and Hospitality Conservatory and bid on a number of art works during our time there. For parents, there are opportunities to get involved while attending special events throughout the year. It truly is a very special place. When you visit the campus, you will immediately notice the caring atmosphere because every staff member is amazing (shoutout to Dr. D and Mrs. Pedroza, co principals, for giving this school the big heart that it has)!! If you're on the fence, give them a chance by attending one of the campus events to hear what they have to offer and what sets them apart from other schools. For example, how many middle schools offer international travel opportunities? My daughter went on a 10+ day trip to Europe and made wonderful memories with her friends. Again, this school has it all (including pre-AP!) and so many parents I've talked to all agree it was amazing for each of their kids. No regrets!
