BHS cafetiere on the first floor: Great place for a brunch and I heard that express coffee is the best in town but I'll have to return to check that out. I had a delicious Spinach & Ricotta cannelloni for 5,95 pounds. The sympathy of the waitresses really excels. I only think that 4:00 pm is to early to close, specially on a Sunday! read more

All indoor shopping centre with and large outdoor carpark and one large indoor carpark both with pay and display metres at 60p an hour. Inside the shopping centre there is many shops including a large primark, woolworths, home bargains and many card shops and fashion clothes/shoes. There are many places to eat from mcdonalds, greggs, sit down cafes, and coffee shops. This shopping centre is split on two levels so there are stairs/lift. oh and nearly forgot about the large toilets including disabled and babies. There is also many day to day shops iceland, butchers, and also a post office. There is also an indoor market selling various things like fresh fruit and veg. read more

Glad to read they are having a refurbishment. If you go into any town centre shops are shut and boarded up, it just so happens that most of them in Hartlepool are in Middleton Grange. Plenty of plans are underway and we can start seeing good things, so support your local shopping centre!! read more

The Middleton Grange Shopping Center is the main shopping area for Hartlepool it's a reasonable size and does have some decent stores inside. The Center does offer parking which is on the top of the center and it is easy to access. Middleton Grange does have quite clothes shops like Primark, Internacionale. It has shops for games like GAME, Grainger Games and Gamestation. The Centre has plenty of places to eat The Galleries was a nice place eat and it's the biggest eating place within the centre, McDonalds which is located in the middle of the centre, Greggs which this centre has stores which it's far too many. The problems with Middleton Grange as with anywhere is too many empty shops. The Market Hall is quite empty as well and some stores within this centre haven't been used in years an example a store that closed in 2002 What Everyone Wants which the place hasn't been used for 7 years. I would of thought that this centre would have had some shops for kids but there appears to be none. Middleton Grange is a decent shopping centre it's just a shame that it has too many empty stores. read more

Middleton grange seems to be undergoing a refurbishment on all of its main entrances. I read in the hartlepool mail the owners were spending £500,000. All of the horrible tiling on the outside is being rendered also. The shopping centre will look more attractive on the outside. I noticed that the car park on the entrance near new look had been re surfaced (although it is owned by the local council). The centre has over 110 trading shops and I was really pleased on my last visit to see that BHS were going to take the old Woolworths. The town really needs a store like this. I went into the market hall and although There are some vacant stalls it's loads better than it was about 2 years ago. There are loads of new local businesses in there like electrical goods and hand made items an ye olde sweets. The market hall traders seem to be part of a Hartlepool buy local scheme which is a good idea. I noticed the Middleton grange is now on facebook and twitter. They had a few notices up. I've checked out the sites and they're posting loads of tenant offers read more
