My husband and I contacted Midland to replace some of the windows and a sliding door in our home. We felt they did an excellent job and so asked them to come back for a bid to replace our siding, gutters and an additional window. Ryan, our salesman, was helpful and answered our questions. We have gutter covers, and they were working well. Midland agreed to remove the covers and replace them after the new gutters were installed. We paid $700 for this service. They started the work in January. The crew was led by a college student who had to start classes and left the project. Another person came in to complete the project. There appeared to be no communication between them, as details we had discussed with the first person were not told to the second crew leader. We had issues with missed communications the whole time we have been dealing with Midland. When the crew arrived to begin work, they pulled their trucks right onto our lawn. When working on the siding, the crew had no regard for our home or plants. They pulled out and stomped on landscaping and hardscaping. Trellises were yanked out with plants clinging to them. We thought we had cleared out away from the house to allow space for the workers, but they trampled on plants and kicked over brick and wire edging. The crew leader would arrive in the early morning with the crew, then leave for hours. We had no lead person to speak with while this damage was being done. The worst damage was to our gutter covers. In removing them, the crew bent and dented them. They were reinstalled and now they don't work properly. Water runs down the outside of our home at the back door, and with all the rain we have been having this year, the door swells and we are unable to open or close it easily. The water pours over the edge of the gutter cover at the front door and offers no protection to visitors. Who knows where else water is leaking into our home? My husband has called the salesperson, the team leaders, and sent many emails to Midland Exteriors. The response, when we get one, is to try to sell us their gutter covers with a substantial upcharge and not claim any responsibility for the shoddy treatment of our covers and this new damage to our home. The work was done mostly in January. Most days the crew was still here when the sun went down. The crew leader asked us to tour the site with him, which was impossible because it was dark. The next morning, my husband and I looked at the work and wrote a punch list. The electrical hookups from the pole were left hanging by the wire only--nothing was bolted to the house, and they were going to leave it that way. They said, "we don't deal with the electrical work," so they weren't going to re-anchor it to our home. This was not mentioned at the time we contracted with them. The siding under the electrical boxes has not been replaced or covered, it's still the original house color. In several places the caulking is very messy, like someone smeared their finger on the side of the house. Seams are uneven. There are a few places where pieces of trim are missing. He has spoken to several people at Midland and they tell us they will fix it, but nothing has yet been done. This has been going on for 6 months. Midland has stopped returning our calls or emails. And we have had to repair or replace our landscaping and have water coming into our home when it rains. I so regret hiring them. If you value your home, do not call them. read more

We just had Midland Exteriors install new Infinity from Marvin fiberglass windows and were thrilled!! from start to finish, everyone - Jamie, the office, and the installers made it easy and stress free. the house is much quieter now and our AC doesn't run nearly as much. we couldn't recommend Midland Exteriors enough!! read more

He answered our calls immediately or returned our calls within a few hours, while we were working with insurance and selecting our window, siding, and guttering. Gable, Shannon, and Dakota paid attention to details on our project and worked to transform our one hundred year old country house into an amazingly beautiful home. They went the extra mile and built out one of our addition walls so the siding would be continuous and built out our dormer edges. They worked extremely hard on sheeting and siding our house and placing a window especially since everything had to be custom cut and fitted. They listened to and addressed all of our concerns and throughly cleaned up their work site every day. Tried them twice cause i heard they were good. well, dont believe it. the first time was simply to get my gutters cleaned. they advertise that they do this. I specifically told them that i didnt want new gutters and I didnt want gutter guards. I said "just clean out the gutters;" i got a quote for thousands of dollars for new gutters and gutter guards which i had in no uncertain terms i DID NOT WANT. i pretty sure they saw me coming. Finally got my gutter "cleaned" for $300.00. Dont trust these people at all. Use somebody else. Next review to follow read more

Let's be honest--picking out windows is a difficult, expensive task that no one really wants to do. Thank you, Midland, for helping to make this a good experience! :-) Product line: Marvin Windows, excellent quality, different options. We liked the different choices, and that one could have either custom-stained wooden trim or white trim. We went for wood and fiberglass based on the Flint Hills climate (read: wide temperature range). The process: We met with Jamie, who showed us window samples and gave us information about the different types of Marvin windows. Because the windows are high-quality and the company is confident in their work abilities and ethics, their approach was relaxed and confident, meaning No Pressure To Sign Today!! We took our time in deciding, did lots of research ourselves, made several follow-up calls with questions. Jamie could answer all sorts of questions, from technical and functional to aesthetic and financial. A one-year payment/financing plan is available. The team: knowledgeable, friendly, professional. They seem to know their business, and were helpful in identifying what work really and truly needed to be done, what could wait, and what to expect with both the windows and siding of our house. Also, we never worried about reliability--they were punctual, worked hard, and cleaned up. Someone from the office followed up with both a phone call and walk-through inspection. Everyone--from the office staff to the installers to the manager--was great to work with. We're quite pleased with the new windows and the great work by Midland, and would gladly recommend them! read more

Ryan from Midland came and did the estimate and did a outstanding job. The installation team came on Saturday which I was very unhappy with the results. I went to Midland and discussed my issues with Gerald on Monday and showed him my issues. He stated stated that I will be contacted shortly about fixing the problem. I called back on Tuesday and stated to the office and they stated it will be corrected by Saturday. Saturday came so on Sunday I fixed all the deficiencies for about $5.58 and 20 minutes. Drew the manager called me on Tuesday and he stated he has seen the pictures that I dropped off and would investigate and will get back with me. By Thursday no return call so I called Drew again and up to the following Monday no one has contacted me. So on Sunday I went to Home Depot and purchased the materiel.
