    Breakfast fried rice

First time here for dinner with a group of friends because the restaurant held a fun latte art competition. It was their first time organizing it so definitely a bit chaotic and several kinks to work out but I'd say it was a success and hope they make it an annual tradition. We ordered a bunch of apps to try and enjoyed them all - Beets with shiso labne, goat cheese and currant croquettes, buttermilk fried pickles, veggie dumplings. Everybody's favorite were the buttermilk fried pickles. Generous portion, very crispy, and downright yummy. Each of us ordered a cocktail and we enjoyed those as well. We also tried the throwdown flight (coffee + cocktail) and that was probably the only thing we didn't enjoy as much - but maybe that's just us! Highly recommend food-wise. Service was a bit hit-or-miss that evening. Took a looooong time for anyone to take our order and we had to keep craning our necks to flag down the wait staff, especially if you're sitting at the long center table. They also got us pork dumplings first and when we mentioned it, they apologized and brought over the veggie dumplings. But it was a busy night so I'll just say, it happens.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a charming place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stopped here for lunch and coffee. The donuts were great - the cashier encouraged us to come back again at an earlier time as they have a lot of amazing donut flavors that sell out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat out on the patio and grabbed some sandwiches and fries.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside looks like a great place to chill with a book or laptop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So glad I discovered this neighborhood gem!

I didn't know that breakfast fried rice was an option, and now I want it everyday of my life! Seriously, it's worth the trip even just for this dish. Our food was so delicious, but be careful coming on the weekends as they run out of baked goods rather quickly! Our waitress was kind and attentive, and did her best to work around the parties of screaming and singing patrons. I would recommend adding a typical "breakfast combo" to the menu with simple eggs, breakfast meat and choice of pancakes, etc. Overall, we will definitely return to try out more items on the menu!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is super cute with very cozy vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We entered from the back which has outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, there's this bar seating area with little games and decorations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat at the front near the window which was also nice and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait. I ordered the breakfast fried rice - the rice and crispy potato combination was surprisingly delicious. My egg was perfectly over easy and I enjoyed the fresh avocado slices too. My friends got the buttermilk pancakes, the steak and eggs, and the boursin cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich. They were all quite delicious as well! We were fans of the cinnamon butter that went with the pancakes, but we were not a fan of the mushroom ketchup that went with the breakfast sandwich.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Midnight Morning is very inviting from the outside and surprisingly spacious inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a good amount of seating, with a mix of high and low tables, which is especially helpful for accessibility.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a coffee bar you can sit at, and music playing that adds to the atmosphere without being distracting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a burger and fries, which were good. The menu is fairly simple, but they do offer desserts I didn't try this time--things like apple cider donuts--which looked delicious and generously sized. Service was friendly and welcoming. I also had a chai that wasn't quite my favorite, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was able to get some work done without being consistently bothered, which I really appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back.

Came here for dinner on Saturday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's pretty full, but not too noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the Tagliatelle & Oyster Mushrooms, it's pretty good. Pasta texture is good. Service is ok. They didn't refill the water for us.

Stumbled upon this gem a few minutes away from my cousins house in Roslindale. The kids and I walked to Fallon field nearby and while they were playing I did a quick search of eateries in the neighborhood. It was early afternoon and this place looked to be the best in town. My suspicions were correct. The different flavors they had in their dishes shows lots of creativity and finesse. The kids and I just couldn't decide what to eat! The doughnut holes came out first. I didn't get to try one since the kids just demolished them. I let them have a couple and told them they need to eat their strong food first. Once they ate their actual Meal they inhaled these rest of the dozen. I'm thinking of coming back just for coffee and doughnuts in the morning My son ordered the fried rice and it did not disappoint. It's not your average fried rice. There were bits of fried potato, eggs, bacon, seasonal veggies (asparagus, spring peas, and green onions) with a runny egg, hollandaise, avocado, and a pleasant surprise of Thai basil. It was THE most decadent fried rice I have ever had and I have made my fair share of fried rice. (Korean bbq leftovers is my favorite fried rice ) We also ordered the fried chicken sandwich and asked them to put the hot honey sauce in the side for da keiki. It was so good and crispy. It went well with the pickles and coleslaw. The hot honey was definitely HOT. I really wanted to try the beet and shiso salad. It was a very generous portion and I could only eat half. It's ok, more beets for dinner! The presentation was so beautiful. The Keiki menu was hidden in some of the children's books on the shelf and I thought that was such a great idea. My daughter just wanted fried chicken so we ordered chicken tenders. It was basic and she was happy. The fries were definitely fresh cut and fried twice. My favorite The staff were very friendly and we had a great conversation. It is a cafe type setting where you order at the bar and you are given a number. You find a seat, but you also need to grab your own utensils and water. After your meal it is recommend to take your dishes to the bins. This is really a great place to dine when you're in town. The menu is seasonal and it rotates often (one of the menu items I wanted was no longer being served) Can't wait to come back and try their new menu next time I'm in town. Or I might just come back for an early dinner service Mahalo for a great early afternoon brunch from a jet lagged bunch of travelers!

The table was a bit tight, but we made it work. Our server was kind. We started with chorizo and cheese. The chorizo was similar to meat from A charcuterie board, so for the price, we would definitely skip ordering the cheese and chorizo. Other than those 2 dishes, we would order everything again! The potatoes, carrots and mushrooms were bomb! They were each so good. I'd order all 3 again. The chicken was also really good. The potatoes tapas is the same as the potatoes that come with the chicken, so no need to order both, unless you love potatoes. that being said, the potatoes were so good that we couldn't stop eating them. We'll definitely come back since this is in the neighborhood. I recommend giving it a try.

Steak tacos are - as someone else has mentioned - to die for. My filet mignon was juicy and VERY tender. I mean, it was so easy to cut apart. My dinner partner had the foie gras dish, and it was also great! I definitely want to come back. Just do not order cocktails, haha. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.
