The first permanent log meeting house was built in 1756, and was destroyed by the British during the Revolutionary War. The people of the Midway community and nearby Sunbury were supporters of the cause for American Independence. It's peaceful out here. If you need impromptu flowers, there's a dollar store around the corner near IGA and pizza peddler.
