At the beginning I would hug my body with my arm so I could avoid pain and mobility. It took about 6 treatments before I could sense improvement because the pain was so intense. The doctor added ultrasound and had me do some minor exercises at home. She suggested that I wear a sling to minimize unsupported movement and to limit usage that would aggravate it. Her treatment involved some sensitive, painful massage under an armpit that eventually became comfortable. I am always amazed where her treatments find the necessary part to adjust and what it requires. After 11 treatments I feel almost normal with increased movement, reduced pain and a greater sense of normal. I had been seeing Dr. Floro for ongoing maintenance adjustments on a 2-3 month cycle and have been well pleased with the results. It is a great feeling to leave the doctor after an adjustment because of the sense of restorative comfort.
