Despite this, he insisted on setting me up with a CPAP machine and a therapist without disclosing that if I purchased the CPAP machine out-of-pocket--as I did--he would not be able to access or read any of the machine's data. This was a critical piece of information that he failed to share. When I brought this up during my appointment today, Dr. Bowers was arrogant and dismissive. He shrugged and offered no solution, showing zero accountability or concern. When I questioned him further about why he didn't inform us of this crucial limitation--especially knowing I was uninsured--he brushed us off entirely. He then told me he would not be charging for today's visit and that he would not see me again. This level of care is unacceptable and, quite frankly, alarming. A provider who refuses to communicate transparently, avoids responsibility, and dismisses patients simply because they raise valid concerns should not be practicing medicine. If this is how Methodist Healthcare System allows their providers to treat uninsured patients, it speaks volumes about their values and priorities. I would not recommend Dr. Bowers to anyone--insured or not.

We were referred to this office for Allergy testing. We waited at least 30-45 mins before being…read moreseen for our appt (we arrived on time). And we were new patients but this 30-45 mins was after we filled out the forms. The doctor asked us questions and then told us to go back to our family doctor to get tested and then our family doctor would send them the results. A few months later, I was billed $400 for the 15 mins that we spoke to the doctor. The doctor did not do anything for us but send us back to our doctor that sent us to them. I was completely disappointed in the whole ordeal. We did not get testing done at our family doctor. This was a waste of our time!!
