I have coin-op laundry in my apartment - but once in a while I get so many clothes stacked up, it's just easier to head to the laundrymatt. Also gives me a reason to wash the big stupid things like comforters, dog beds, bath rugs, etc. This place is clean, and the equipment is well maintained. This was my first time actually coming here to do laundry on my own. I usually drop off. 7 loads took about two hours, from wash to fold. Totally easier than doing it in my own place - it would have been more like 15 loads, and I wouldn't have been able to clean my comforters and stuff in our regular sized machine. read more

I brought mine in at 7:30 on a Tuesday; by the time I was done running errands, my three week's worth of clothes were already finished! This place is awesome. It is rarely busy, regardless of whether you go on a Sunday or after work during the week. The dryers are super efficient and they are getting new washers--we tried the new ones last time we were there and they are much better. The atmosphere is the best part--the man who owns this laundromat is extremely friendly and will go out of his way to make sure that you are having a good experience, and he really appreciates the business. Compare that to the laundromat on Elston next to Strack and Van Til! Seriously. The other patrons here are much nicer to deal with as well. So, you should go here. But don't ruin it! read more

Been going here for years. Very friendly owners, family owned. They always make it a point to greet me and ask how my dog is doing. Nice new washer machines in a variety of sizes. Medium load $3.00, large $4.50, XXXL loads $9.00. Dry is $0.25 for 12 minutes. read more

This laundry mat had everything we needed. They had a little shop for detergent which was decently priced. The staff were very nice and helpful. They have free wifi if you need to get work done and places to sit. Only thing is that it could be cleaner. I went on a Saturday night and the floors were a bit dirty, but I imagine its because it was the end of the day. It wasn't terribly busy so we were able to use 5 machines at one time and there were plenty more left. I would definitely recommend coming here. The medium loads are $3 and large loads are $4.50. We had to dry our large loads three times. Each dryer cycle is 25 cents. Very good pricing, but I don't go to laundry mats often. read more

Have been coming here for a couple years. The owners are super friendly and helpful. It costs 4.50 for a good machine, but it is totally worth it. One can fit a ton of laundry in there. Believe me. I've only dropped off my laundry to get done a couple of times here. The folding is magical. Usually I just come here to pick up women by offering to fold their laundry or giving away a drier sheet here and there. Works every time! read more

Nice folks that own the place. They were cleaning and tidying up the whole time I was here washing my clothes. Plenty of washers and dryers available, all newish and well-maintained. It costs $3 for a regular load, $4.50 for a big one, and $.25 per 12 minutes on the dryers. I haven't tried the drop off service, so can't speak to that. Checked the website for hours and they claim to be open until 11. I show up at 9:15 with a small load only to dry (30 min) and the owner barks at me that they are closed. I asked, "oh, when do you close?" to which he replied, "we're closed". That's helpful. I told him the website says you close at 11. He replied, "we close when we're done". Again, very helpful. I went to MCL this week and had my laundry done. They did a super job. I dropped off in the morning around 8am and it was ready at 4pm. They washed, dried and folded. The only thing that would have made me leave with that fuzzy feel good feeling was if they would have carried the laundry sac to my car. Keep up the good work MCL. read more

The skinny: After the recent upgrade where most of the machines are now high efficiency, this place saves me both time and money. Add in friendly ownership, and I'll probably stay loyal to this place as long as I need a laundromat. This place is a little hard to find, but it's in the strip mall where the old Danny's food market used to be, right at Western and Shakespeare. My buddy told me about it, and it's worth the journey. They just recently added more high efficiency washing machines to the place, including two huge 90 pounders in the front window, so that the majority are of the H.E. variety. If you've never used these, basically they have stronger motors, better programming, and spin a lot faster. When my clothes come out, they are only faintly damp. I now buy the h.e. detergent and I use less of it, because of these machines. New tech == better laundromat. The dryers here are very nice too. When I use the high efficiency washers, because it squeezes so much water out, I only need to dry for 20 minutes as opposed to 40 at bubble land or that place near strack's. The owners are very nice, which is always a plus. They are putting a lot of work into making the place nice, and it shows. It feels like it should be busier, but given that the machines lopped off half an hour of my usual laundry trip, maybe that's a good sign that it's not packed with people. The laundry in my building isn't working right now so I decided to give this place a try based on it's great reviews. I've never done drop off laundry before (didn't even know that was a thing), but I was excited to try it. Drop off was great. The man who took my laundry was kind, bubbly, and super funny. I had a ton of laundry and he joked with me about it. I was excited to come back the next day to come pick up my baskets. Pick-up was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Let. Me. Tell. You: I walk in and go to the drop off window, as I thought that might be the place I look for someone who works there. After a few minutes of waiting and looking around, I just figured the pick-up spot was somewhere else - no big deal. I see towards the back of the place that there are laundry baskets and folded laundry - awesome. I walk over and find my baskets with my ticket on them (I paid when I dropped off my laundry - you can also pay at pick up if you want). All while this is happening, I notice a woman who is doing laundry staring hard at me, but I don't think too much of it. After looking around one more time to see if I can find someone who works there, I grab one of my baskets and start heading towards the door. I walk to my car and as I am putting my first basket into my car, THE WOMAN WHO WAS STARING AT ME WAS SUDDENLY DIRECTLY BEHIND ME AND GRABS MY LAUNDRY BASKET OUT OF MY HANDS IN THE PARKING LOT. She starts yelling at me that I "need to ask her before I take anything." I literally stared at her in disbelief that this was happening and said, "This is my laundry and you watched me look around to find someone, said nothing, and followed me out of the store? Please take your hands off of my things." She just kept yelling at me that I "needed to tell her." I was so taken aback I literally just went in and took the rest of my baskets while she yelled at me. MIND YOU, I literally walked across the ENTIRE laundromat and she didn't say anything. She apparently followed behind me so she could accost me. It was the most bizarre thing that's ever happened to me. I haven't even looked at my laundry yet to say whether or not they did a good job, but from what I can see it's nicely folded and it looks like everything is in the baskets. I'm super bummed because the guy who we saw when we dropped it off was amazing. Ugh. read more

I dropped off a down comforter mid morning and was quoted to come back mid afternoon. I called to see if it was ready, and he said come in an hour, I arrived almost two hours after the phone call. Came to mighty clean laundry and was told to "look around" as he was very busy. I apologized and told him I will take comforter even if not ready. He looked very infuriated and said, " You expect this done in blink of an eye." Felt very uncomfortable and apologized again. Disrespectful treatment was completely unnecessary! read more

Best laundry drop off in town! The owner really cares about all the customers and keeping the place clean. My clothes are done in a timely manner every time! I am really busy and tried a pickup/delivery service for a month and they have lost multiple items of my clothing and my clothes are never delivered on time. It's worth it to me to spend the extra time dropping off my clothes and picking them up for the quality and customer service alone. read more

The machines work well... competitively priced. The lights are creepy and quite a few need to be replaced, the floors are mismatched which isn't cute and the TV's are old, loud, and always on shitty channels. There is plenty of free parking (in a creepy lot, ok its not creepy it just needs to be cleaned like with Ajax and some holy water). Either way if you go during the day you can be in and out of there pretty quickly. read more

I unfortunately started washing my headphones and attempted to "emergency stop" the load. The alarm ceased to shut off, which prompted my interaction with the owner. When I explained the situation, the gentleman told me the stop button was for emergencies only; however, after looking up instructions on how to fix this situation, the emergency button can be used under any circumstance. The alarm should have gone off after 2 minutes maximum, but instead, the alarm persisted for several minutes. The owner blamed it on me, but I reviewed the owners manual to the Dexter Commercial Washer, and the machine itself is acting up. My clothes remained locked for up to an hour with absolutely no assistance from the owner. The best laundromat in the city. Family owned business that values their customers. Their laundry drop off is the cheapest that I have seen so far. Extremely clean, and you don't have to bring your own quarters. Management can swipe your card for the amount that you need and can get you the quarters for the machines. read more
