OH MY GOSH... this has got to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I am such a sucker for a smash burger but Mighty Fine absolutely nailed it. The burger was cooked perfectly, had so much flavor, and just hit all the right things. Holy cow was it delicious. I also loved that it's a brewery too! They had a good variety of beers plus some sours. We tried the two fruited sours and they were decent, not mind blowing, but good. The burgers are definitely the star though. I did notice after ordering that they had fried pickles and now I'm low-key upset I missed out... so I'll definitely be back to try those. When I walked in, the place was busy, which is usually a good sign. One thing I really appreciated was the music selection. Hubs wanted to try Mighty Fine. Apparently we'd attempted to come before, but breakfast was being served, so we left. Me? I had completely forgotten. The vibe was chill and laid back. In fairness, he must've been seeing this consistently in his social feed because he mentioned them at Byre then today as he attempted to remind me we've been before... Now, in this season of my life I'm not eating burgers back-to-back, so while Hubs was all in on the Deluxe, I opted for the Chicky Sando. Unfortunately, that ended up being the miss for me. Presentation-wise, it looked amazing. The sandwich was huge and definitely gave "you're getting your money's worth" energy. But after my first bite, I noticed the chicken meat was darker than any chicken sandwich I've personally had before. It immediately threw me off, so I stopped eating it and called it a night. That's completely a personal preference thing, but I know somebody will ask, so there it is. The waffle fries were crispy with a nice crunch, but they leaned a little too salty for my taste. So glad I finally tried out Mighty Fine, it truly lives up to the hype (and its name)! We came on a busy Saturday World Cup night, so there was a line around some of the tables and up to the bar where you order. Someone came by and told us it would be about a 45 minute wait until we got food but it didn't seem that long in the end and was worth the wait. Tried the classic boi and it was just an all around solid smash burger, it definitely hit the spot. I'm excited to go back and try more though, like the patty melt. The beers (from the connected brewery, Late Start) were inventive and intriguing. I don't remember the names of what we got but mine was a classic blonde ale and it was crisp and refreshing. You order at the bar, and then get a buzzer to ping you when the food is ready. We ordered three burgers in total plus a hot dog and waffle fries. My double classic burger was pretty darn tasty! Sooo delicious, one of the best burger and fries I've had in tampa. The patties are thin and crispy but it wasn't greasy. The fries are crispy and flavorful but salty. The fry sauce brings a nice balance. The fried pickles are awesome because they are so thin so they don't get soggy like many fried pickles do. We also got the banana pudding which was a nice sweet ending and not too heavy. Paid parking is $10.49 no matter how short a time you're there (no hourly). Music is great. Service is spot on at the bar. Lots of out of the ordinary beer, cider and seltzer choices at very reasonable prices of $6-8 for most choices. They also have about fifteen on tap, including cider. Burgers are smash variety with several bun options (sourdough, sesame and potato). Toppings include special sauce (excellent!), pickles, lettuce and tomato; all very fresh. The highlight was the waffle fries.. OMG, so tasty and some of the best I've ever had. Ambiance is fun, roll up doors on nice days/nights. Fun decorations in front of kitchen, brewing vats. Bar seating is long with several TVs. About seven larger outside tables and several smaller high-tops. College kids appear to be the norm but well behaved at 11p on a Saturday. I stopped by on a Friday for lunch and it was almost already full inside. I had no idea this place even existed and I've lived in downtown Tampa for almost 3 years. I sat at the bar and it's quite roomy. A bunch of people were here on their laptops apparently sipping on cocktails and working at noon on Friday. The menu consists of Burgers/Dogs/Birds and the other half consists of Snacks & Such. There is also a backside to the menu with Early Morning Stuff, but I missed the cutoff time. I decided to order a $11.50 Classic Boi Double Burger. Whoa, totally unexpected. It's basically like a Steak N Shake Burger, but way better. Tons of flavor, juices, cheese, and a well tasting patty. I loved it. Then, I had the $13 Quarter Cheese Patty Melt. I love a great grilled cheese and this was a grilled cheese with a burger in the middle. Very cheesy and all of the flavors mixed together perfectly. I thought this was better than the burger, but it was very close. I'll definitely be back to try more food items. I think Tampa officially has its best burger and the crown sits atop mighty fine! This place is such a great addition to the downtown area. It's pretty much on the edge of downtown almost creeping into Ybor/gas worx. I've had all of their burgers so far and their patty melt. Nothing has been short of absolutely delicious. The building is cool and they have plenty of different alcoholic/ nonalcoholic selections to choose from. The service counter I think could be switched up to the front but not really a complaint just a personal preference. The grilled onions are half caramelized adding a nice texture, and while the patty doesn't have that ultra-crispy lace edge some smash burgers chase, it's incredibly well seasoned and flavorful. It's a great burger, no debate. Now... is it better than Tower 10? I don't think so. But it's absolutely comparable, which says a lot. The rest of the menu also holds its own. The Chicky Nug is basically karaage style salty, crispy, and tasty chicken. The Banana Pudding was good overall. Not this establishment's issue, but it's a factor. If there's a spot in front (which appears to be a super difficult ask), I'd come back but if not, I'll have a plan B in mind because it's not worth all that to me. Once inside, typical brewery. Decent size, plenty of tables, even outside, which would have been nice if it weren't scorching. Sat inside and checked out the menu. There's several options from burgers to chicken sandwiches... For food and drink, you must go up to the bar and order. Then when you get a buzzer/beeper you'll pick it up on the far right of the counter when it's ready. The food comes in a small metal tray. And there is water in a little jug/dispenser further to the right of the order pick up area. I found the burger to taste ok, but it was thinner and flatter than a steak n shake steakburger. Also, everything is a la carte, so the fries were additional. They were large waffle fries and were pretty good, so I was happy with those. I ordered an NA cider which was sneakily not a traditional cider...it was blackberry flavored and even had apple cider vinegar in it... Not really what I anticipated from the name and description on the menu (I cannot recall), but I guess I could have asked some questions. Overall, the parking initially set the tone for me, unfortunately. The food was decent, although I would have liked a heartier patty in my burger and didn't come with anything else. Everything was incredible!! I had read about the French onion burger so I just had to go find this restaurant. My friend ordered the patty melt and she said it was the best she had ever had. As for the ambiance it was just what I liked. Nothing fancy, very relaxed and in a way very cozy. The service was great even down to helping us open the ketchup packets which even they had trouble opening without scissors! It was so absurd that it kept us laughing for about 15 minutes. Love a good smash burger patty and all the toppings on the Deluxe were super fresh, especially the shaved onions. The fries were the crunchiest fries I've literally ever had but next time I'll have to get the seasoning on the side. They were soooooooooooo salty. Finally got to try this hidden gem burger spot/brewery and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! I started off with a Spritz drink that was on tap and it tasted great - kind of like a sangria almost. I also ordered the Patty Melt - Coney Dog - Fries and the Fried Pickle Chips! Everything was 10/10 except the hot dog - the burger was super tasty and the bread was toasted perfectly!
