We are at…read morethe Faro Blanco resort ( Hilton curio) and they were very kind to accommodate us last minute and drive all the way out ( for a fee) for our maternity shoot. I was definitely a little nervous going into the shoot, not knowing what the expect and the weather was a little windy too. We were also not familiar with the resort yet to know what were some good photo ops etc. Jose and Cynthia made us feel at ease right from the get go - they were somewhat familiar with the area and were quickly able to scope out and arrange for great photos. Jose did a lot of work behind the lens while Cynthia sweetly directed us, while also taking some very specific stylized pictures. We did at least 5-6 different spots at the resort, with clear and easy direction from Cynthia. They continued to show us their work on camera as we went through the shoot, chatting and joking with us, making us feel at ease. Their composition skills for photos are excellent, with a keen eye on lighting, props etc. I obviously haven't seen the final product yet, but given our excellent experience with the couple, I would highly recommend them. What we saw of photos on their camera, I have no doubts the photos will turn out good. Their service definitely comes at a premium price, but I think it's totally worth it

I am forever indebted to Erin for taking amazing photos of my husband and I on our wedding day (Pi…read moreDay 2016). Erin was accommodating, thoughtful and genuinely fun! When I mentioned I wanted to take photos on the National Mall, she let me know I needed to apply for and receive a permit from the National Park Service (we called it our donation fee to keep from getting bitter with NPS). It took longer than expected to get from one end of DC to another due to an unexpected road closure (dignitary motorcade), so we were running about an hour late. I was so grateful Erin was willing to wait for our arrival on a day that is best described as "unseasonably cold". Erin kept the initial portion of the photo shoot moving as she knew those under 7 years old and over 70 years old were expiring fast in the cold weather. She even was able to coax a smile out of Alexandra (my niece) who at 7 months old believes in "stranger danger." My favorite part of the photo shoot was the time my husband and I got to spend "just us" with Erin as it felt fun (and we got to kiss a lot). The photos turned out amazingly beautiful and I loved her creative shots! Erin knew just where to take us on an overcast day! Erin even had a blueberry pie on hand for Pi Day. It's those special touches that don't scream cheesy, but scream memorable! I included a few samples (and possibly I'm not the best model) but Erin truly made all of look amazing.
