Had 2 expensive fish and shrimp dinners take out tonight. The roll had. MOLD!!!! Called and the woman yelled at me to bring back the dinners during the worst summer Storm. And then after telling her I couldn't, she yelled at me, talking over me, then hung up. No Bueno. My boss usually sends me for lunch several times a week. Well, that's not happening again. Mold... Small n family owned. We were a group of 8 ladies there for first time! You pay for food before you sit and eat. They do bring to you at table. All was freshly made n delicious. You serve your own drink n refills. All in all not bad n we think we will be back! read more

I hate writing bad reviews. But I feel like it is my duty to notify people to skip this restaurant. They will make you sick. First the woman was berating the other employee. I asked for blue cheese On The side. The cook walks over to the fridge and sniffs all the blue cheese containers to try and find one that isn't rancid. I told him if you have to smell it I don't want it. I paid then told the owner I wanted a new blue cheese. He grabbed one of the containers the cook stuck his nose in. Gross! Dude I know they're bad cause you cook smelled them all looking for one that wasn't rancid. I wanted you to pour me a new containers. The food was TERRIBLE!!!! The worst sandwich I have eaten in a very long time. They put cole slaw in the sandwich. The cole slaw was bad. Owners. Make a smaller menu if you can't make the food well. Better to do a few things well then a ton of crappy things. I recommend you skip this joint. They are not a good choice. I'm sure there are a ton of better options in Florence. Stopped here by chance on our way to Hilton Head. Looks like a dive, but the food is excellent! And the owner's wife cleans the place constantly. She was talking to us and let us know she cleans 2x a day after lunch and after dinner. I had the calabash (fried) shrimp I ordered the 12 count but she let me know they give some more, not just 12. I had closer to 20 and they were fantastic! My wife had the chicken sandwich which was delicious. They told us its marinated for 30 hours and it tastes like it. Tender and juicy and the seasoning was awesome. Well worth a stop if you're in the area! read more

Miguel's is a great spot for lunch and dinner. It's a no frills place but the food quality is very good and the service is the same. The decor is dated and the place may not look clean but it is very much so. Miguel himself is a really nice guy- originally from Spain and he knows his Spanish tennis players very well. read more

Miguel is trying to save the local population from heart attacks! After thorough exploration we found that this is the only healthy and tasty place in the county. The grilled chicken plate and salad were AMAZING!! Hand grilled veggies!!! Seriously, home made Greek dressing AND you can can get comfort food too!! Wish I could give a 3.5 to this place, it's better than a 3. The only reason I'm not giving it a 4 is because it's a bit small, and needs remodeling. But the food is really yummy, the people are friendly and the food was prepared quickly. They serve chicken, seafood, and some greek food. I had the chicken fajitas, served with herbed pita bread. Fantastic and healthy. A lot better for you than a burger and fries, and tasty. My younger son had the shrimp and loved it. Spiced just right, fresh and good. read more

I had lunch at Miguel's today after reading the Yelp reviews. The fried chicken and mixed vegetables were great and the ice cream cake was very good. The prices are cheap, the service is good, the staff is friendly, and the owner stopped by the table to make sure everything was good. I definitely am going back and will recommend it to others. read more

Excellent... Blows away 301 Diner... I had the lamb gyro and my girlfriend had the cheesesteak... Both awesome.. We both had a Greek salad that was very fresh... Not fancy, very reasonable prices, clean and excellent food... We will be back for sure! read more

Over $18 for two sub par grilled chicken salads. A bit overpriced in my opinion especially when the salad mix is pre-packaged and the salad only contained two slices of bell pepper, four slices of tomatoes and four slices of cucumbers. Let me not fail to mention that my salad dressing cup was only half full and not enough to cover the salad and the salad mix was not very fresh. Very disappointing. read more
