I am a regular/frequent visitor here..there are many reasons, first and foremost being the great healthy and scrumptious breakfast and lunch options besides its plethora of amazing coffee and tea choices... Before, I reveal, yet another amazing addition to the menu that is out of this world, yet so simple, it would be unfair of me to not show my gratitude to the most welcoming staff working at the front desk .. all of them very respectful, and their service is the reason why Mika has such a wonderful, and inviting ambience for young and older people, and has a very family oriented vibe to it!! First time visiting this restaurant with a group of friends yesterday. Right off the bat there is very limited seating at this shop. The seating and tables were also not maintained, there were cups and dishes and food debris all over several of the tables and no customers were at them. The shop wasn't very busy so I'm not sure why these table weren't cleaned up. We had a group of 6 total, and we had to move tables and chairs together in order for us to sit together. There is only one large table and of course it was already taken. The other areas with couches had such low tables at them that there was no way you could dine there comfortably. We ordered a few different items off the menu but my absolute favorite was the breakfast croissant. I highly recommend it. It had great flavor, it was a complete breakfast and was fresh. The small side of cantaloupe was like a child's portion though. We did go back and order more because we were still hungry so if you're a big eater this place can get pricey. I ordered the toffee decaf iced latte as it was recommended by my friend, but it definitely didn't taste like decaf. It was still super strong so just a heads up if that is something you would be interested in. Overall this place wasn't bad, if you're looking to eat somewhere as a group of 4 or more I'd recommend you go elsewhere. read more

This was my first time here and I loved the aesthetics and atmosphere. The employees were super helpful and friendly, which made the experience even better. I ordered avocado toast with scrambled eggs, and it came with a small kale salad and cantaloupe. Everything tasted fresh. Drove by and had to stop for a quick coffee while I continued running my errands. This cute little coffee shop is location in a busy shopping center. What makes it stands out to me is the cute space they created with fresh flowers on each table, variety of board games, and ample seating. After a meeting at City Hall, I came here with my mom, who had a doctor's appointment just down the road. We stopped in for lunch and it ended up being the most pleasant surprise. The high reviews were super reassuring, and after our visit, I know I made the right move choosing Mika's. First of all, the Spanish latte was hands down the best coffee I've ever had in my life. Light, smooth, not bitter at all and just absolute perfection. My mom got a dirty chai, which was bold, flavorful, and comforting. She said this is the best cup of charge she's had since the past 20 years! I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs, topped with roasted red peppers, pickled onions, and pumpkin seeds. It was fresh, balanced, and delicious. It came with a small side salad and fresh cantaloupe, which made the meal feel complete. We also shared a pitaya bowl, which was bright, refreshing, and packed with fruit, granola, coconut, and texture. Not overly sweet, just right. What stood out most? The staff. One person made our drinks and cooked the food, all while being professional, calm, and incredibly kind. That kind of care and work ethic is rare. These kinds of interactions with small businesses are exactly what help invest in the kind of treatment, service, and community we want for ourselves and for the generations to come. Both were delicious, moist, flavorful and not overly sweet. And now the coffee! We had a latte and Americano. Both were excellent! Strong, complex flavors on the dark roast of the espresso balanced perfectly with the milk in the latte. Beautiful latte art to top it off. I seriously was reluctant to stir the design away. We love trying new coffee places and when our youngest asked to hit up a nearby clothing store, we were in! Such a cute place, they decorated like you are sitting outside a cute city street, only you're inside and you aren't getting rained on (like the day we visited). We had breakfast, and it was very well cooked, which isn't always the case with some of these small places. The coffee selection was large and the actual coffee fantastic. This cafe is hidden away in the Nordahl marketplace off Center Dr! It is small, but has both indoor and outdoor seating. I came here to get some work done and try the matcha. The inside is relaxing as they have couches and tables available. They have fast wifi and the service is friendly. They will bring you your order to the table. I enjoyed my matcha and will definitely be coming back to try out their other food and drinks. They also have a punch card where you can buy 9 drinks and get a free one on your tenth visit! I'm so delighted my coworkers and I stumbled upon this place when we craved an avocado toast. Then to find out its near my house was just the cherry on top. When it was our turn to order, it was nothing bit friendly service filled with jokes and giggles. My food came out fairly quick and so did the food for one of my co workers. Our third, on the other hand, was initially brought the wrong order. I was already half way done when she finally got her smoked salmon avocado toast. It looked amazing and with a generous amount of smoked salmon. By the time we finished, she still hadn't received her pistachio croissant and had to remind them about it. At this point she got her to go. I on the other hand, got my food first and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not a fan of tajin so I didn't eat the melon but the small salad that came with my toast was great. The toast itself was large and filling. The pistachio croissant was a surprise. We didn't expect this cream filled monstrosity. But, boy, am I glad that is what came out. I was already bursting at the seams however, I had to try it and once I started, I couldn't stop. It was so good. I was so impressed with this place that the next day I insisted on my husband and I going there. As for the space itself, I love that there is a small shelving unit filled with games and toys giving both children and adults games to play. I think adds an extra touch of fun. When we were there, it was clearly busy and the tables were not getting cleared. When we sat down, our table was a bit sticky. My initial thought when walking in was HOW CUTE! They definitely have very festive holiday decor in there at the moment. Their staff is also very sweet and helpful! I was accompanied by my friend, instead of just getting coffee we decided to sit down and have breakfast as well. I would suggest coming here with one or two other people max, the space is not huge and the tables fit about two people comfortably. They do have a full kitchen, which is a nice change from the ordinary coffee shop where they can only offer premade meals that they just heat up. They also have a variety of baked goods off to the side that look delicious. I will have to snag something from there next time. As for food ratings, we ordered the following: Poached egg avocado toast: 8/10 The eggs were fresh and perfectly poached. Everything bagel with cream cheese: 10/10 It is your standard bagel, it was delicious! Plain Latte: 10/10 Very delicious latte! Blood orange hibiscus tea: 10/10 I like that they let me make my own tea combination. Perfect for this weather, I would just maybe like to have it come with a side of honey to control the sweetness. The egg royale was disappointing to say the least. The poached egg was the best part and the smoked salmon was fine. But the hash browns were far from crispy and not warm. The English muffin was barely toasted and the hollandaise sauce was not warm either. Everything needed to be hotter!! The breakfast croissant was a solid choice. There are not a lot of places in this area to just sit and enjoy an espresso properly in a chill environment, so I'm glad Mika's exists. The staff are extremely nice and know what they're doing. I can't speak to the quality of baked goods etc because I never order that stuff, but they know the coffee and equally important, they provide a cozy place in which to drink it at decent prices.
