Dr Mike was the best doctor I've ever had. I saw him several times each year and he was brilliant... But he retired several years ago. I'm sorry you can't benefit from his knowledge and experience. I've gone through 4 doctors since he retired and I liked them all but none of them come even half way to being the doctor he was. But very, very few ever will and I doubt I will find one of them. I laughed reading a couple other comments, the negative ones. Had to wait to see the doctor? Terrible! Unless you are the earlier patient with a serious problem that he took the time to help. They didn't over book, they took more time than allotted when it was necessary. A doctor that can stay on schedule is what we have now: "what's your problem? Okay, here's a prescription. Next patient" And Dr Mike made it clear that he could not accept Medicare patients because Medicare doesn't pay for anything they consider unnecessary, which is anything beyond taking your vital signs. Few years ago I fell and broke my ankle in Canada. We continued on to Anchorage in lot of pain. I went to Dr. Mike and he was the best doctor to set my ankle. My ankle healed in three months and when the walking boot was removed my ankle was better than new. It has never bothered me since. Thank you Dr. Mike. read more

I've been coming to Dr Mike for over 20 yrs, because he's a thorough physician. Today I had a 10:45 am appointment. It is now 11:32 am. I've been processed...weight, temperature, bp and all that. Then I noticed the "find us on yelp" sticker on the wall. I guess if I can finish this review before I see a doctor it may be time to find an urgent care. Dr Lafleur walked in just then. First time I've seen her. She seems as good as doctor Mike. I'll up it to 2 stars, but they've got to stop overbooking. read more

I have been going to Dr. Mike for over 17 years, and I'm delighted with his buoyant charm and enthusiasm for patients and continued education. He is thoughtful and relentless in achieving the best care possible for me. Several years ago, when he changed from Blue Cross in-network to out-of-network, like other long time patients, he grandfathered me in to maintain the same payment scale. When he moves to his new location Jan 1, 2020, he will once again be a Blue Cross preferred provider. I couldn't be happier with him if I tried. Yay, Dr. Mike! read more

My family of 4 were patients of Orzechowski for over a decade. Today I attempted to make an appointment for my husband, a Veteran, for ongoing knee problems and was told that "because my husband is Medicare eligible, he would no longer treat him". We are fortunate to have dual private insurance, and VA insurance. In the past, I have made recommendations for him, but will no longer. If you are considering his practice for long term care, look elsewhere because it is apparent that he has no vested interest in providing his senior citizen patients with continued health care.
