Initially, I was skeptical any lawyer would be willing to represent my interests in a family-involved and highly tense situation. At the time, I'd been widowed young and then-recently, this legal matter came out of nowhere, and I was majorly financially outgunned by the other party in what became a year and a half long effort to purchase my house. (We finally closed on December 22nd, 2021.) Other reviewers seem to not realize lawyers are very frequently out of the office doing closings and transactions. Personally, I found his office to ALWAYS be responsive -- and he took time out to personally reassure me when I was worried, discouraged, or confused. Given the length of the transaction (solely due to the other party's delays), that happened a lot, and I needed quite a bit of guidance (even with basic elements, as I was a first-time homebuyer). Many high-stress complications arose (again, due to the other party's actions), and the peace of mind in knowing that I was represented kept me sane. When I first called him, I had very little hope anyone could achieve the desired outcome under the circumstances, or that I'd be able to buy my house -- which is my dream house and the only house I've ever lived in with my late husband. Mr. Clark patiently and adeptly navigated the transaction despite the deck being so dramatically stacked against any favorable outcome.
