Located in a chill, walkable, relaxing part of town. You might have to hunt for a parking spot, but I've never been unsuccessful in finding one. Stopped in after work. It's a happy, open kinda place. Plenty of seating with three main areas, ping pong in the back (a little noisier with kids laughing). Seating is comfortable with booths and tables. Staff were lively and polite. Order at the counter or online, sit in or take out. The Greek Gyro was good sized, good for a light meal, get two of you're starving. Pitas are fresh as are the veggies. They have canned beer and a few in draft. I had a pretty good cider as well as a strawberry lemonade (fresh made in-house). Definitely a neighborhood treasure. read more

This place is a great Greek option in Moscow. The prices were awesome, was super full after trying many different options. Had the chicken gyro, it was okay. I liked it but I wish the chicken was more seasoned as it was bland. The curry lintil soup was awesome, would have it again. I also really liked the salad as it was refreshing. The baklava was super yummy and a great price. The workers there, specifically the woman serving us, was super kind and friendly. The inside was fine, a bit ran down but gets the job done. The large Bowl of mixed bean soup was piping hot and delicious. $4 is an amazing value!!! The Deluxe Gyro was packed with fresh veggies and delightful sauce and meat and feta. It was very very good! I got a Greek gyro and there are no complaints at all, It was really good, flavorful, and filling plus it was only cost $7 which you can't really beat. When I first got there the line was out the door, so many people but I had placed an online order so I just asked a staff member and they showed me the online pick up area, so that saved me probably 20 plus minutes. There was lots of seating inside and outside which made the restaurant very comfortable to be in. Definitely will be returning. read more

What a great deal! For $5-6, you can get a homemade gyro, sandwich, or salad. I ordered a falafel pita and my brother ordered an avocado pita and strawberry lemonade. When the pitas first arrived, they appeared to be small, but both were jam-packed with ingredients. I was fully satiated when I finished my meal. Also, their strawberry lemonade is made in house! Customer service-wise, the person who checked us out was patient, provided recommendations, and was able to answer all of our questions. Our order was ready about 5 minutes after ordering. 10/10 recommend eating here if you're hungry, in a hurry, and/or on a budget! read more

Ok. A couple words of advice. Wash the lettuce before you put it in a salad. Dirt and grit is not a spice. Kitchen staff should wear hair coverings so hair does not end up in the food. They are right smack in the middle of Moscow's historic main street, and were way more sophisticated than I perceived by online reviews/pictures. How they can keep the lights on with their prices is baffling to me? They..are..crazy...affordable--and great. You might as well make your gyro deluxe, with more meat and fixins, because it's only $.50 more ($5.50). And, be smart and order their Greek Sampler platter ($7). We did not get a chance to try the Spanikopita on the platter because they were out, but they added more delicious hummus and pita. No issue for us, haha. All veg products were very fresh, and with Mediterranean fare, that is key. The college-kid hostess/cooks/servers were friendly, efficient, and kept a very busy place hummin'. Solid 3 stars. Far better than the Pita Pit. This place doesn't blow me away, but the taste profile is distinct enough that I'd crave it once in a while. You can watch them carve the meat off the rotating spit. It is tender with nice flavor. The nachos are kind of barren. Falafels aren't special but they're alright. The gyro is a solid meal that I enjoy. The place itself is kind of scuzzy, definitely not a family visiting place. I'd just get my meal to go. On a recent trip to Moscow, ID to enjoy some football we tried a local favorite, Mikey's Greek Gyros. Located on Main Street, this restaurant had quite a following at 6 pm with a line of locals nearly out the door. Like Dr. Who's TARDIS, Mikey's is larger on the inside then it appears on the outside with several seating areas for groups surrounding a smallish open kitchen. Outside on the sidewalk there were two small tables and half dozen chairs. The menu features a variety of gyros, salads with a Greek influence and daily soups. They also have a small but good selection of tap beers and packaged drinks including hard cider. My wife and I both ordered their tabbouleh salad. She also had the standard gyro while I had the deluxe gyro. When asked about the difference between them we were told the deluxe has more meat and cheese. We also had two hard ciders which brought our total bill up to something less than $22! Service was pretty fast and started with the salads. My wife enjoyed her tabbouleh salad a lot especially the feta cheese on top. I had mixed feelings. While tabbouleh is one of those regional dishes whose composition varies a bit, it always has cracked Bulgar wheat, lemon juice, parsley, salt and mint. I also like tomatoes, finely diced red onion, a drizzle of EVOO and black olives in mine. Mikey makes theirs with olives (on top) and tomatoes (also on top), Bulgar wheat, parsley and feta cheese. There was a slight hint of lemon juice but no mint; there might have been onions in there but they were pretty well camouflaged. IMHO, it's the mint that really makes it for me since the rest of the salad is somewhat bland (except for possible lemon taste) so not having mint is a downer for me. I give their tabbouleh a "C". Their gyro, on the other hand, was quite good with well-seasoned meat, good tzatziki sauce and fresh veggies all wrapped in a nice naan bread. Yum!! Overall, it was a pretty decent dining experience with good food and drinks at really good prices in a decidedly local favorite hangout. read more
