The location that they had set up was a beautiful farm in Stilwell (Serendipity Farms) and they had arranged a huge beautiful wreath in front of the barn for a gorgeous backdrop. We were there for about 30 minutes and had a great time; Rye & her husband Chase were SO great with our toddler. They made him laugh and smile and really gained his trust so he had a blast and cooperated like a little angel. A week after our shoot we met at their studio to go over the photos where we then narrowed it down to our favorite shots. We chose 'Package A' which included 5 printed photos for $750. Here is where I dock one star because I couldn't find any pricing on the Rye Studios website before going into this meeting, so it was a little awkward discussing pricing and options in the moment. It was difficult to follow the package pricing versus the a la carte options. I also wish we would have been provided the digital copies of the photos we chose; The only digital copies we have were the ones uploaded to the Rye Studios Facebook - with the logo attached. All in all, the photos turned out spectacular but based solely on the price for 5 prints, we will probably only use Rye for special occasions. If they had offered a flat session fee for digital copies I would hire them multiple times a year! I will reiterate that I am thrilled with the shots that we did get, I just wish we had access to them.

I had happened onto their site when I saw an offer on FB for a free photo shoot at their barn. I'm a bargain finder, had not set this up yet for my family this year and thought "Boom!." We walked into the studio to review our photos, my husband and I, and were blind-sided by our choices of: Pkg A:$750 Pkg B:$1100 Pkg C:$1250 Ok. I should've asked when I called. I know. Guilty! But these prices were off the chart crazy. We bought, out of naivete. Hindsight..... Their product was beautiful, though! We love our proofs and have learned from this one!

We both eventually moved towards our career professions and for her that was photography. Over time, I saw her amazing photography online and I couldn't wait to hire her for my own wedding. Luckily, my chance came and captured all of the special moments from the engagement to the wedding. Marissa traveled to Wichita, KS for both the engagement session and the wedding. She was completely onboard with this commitment and was never late or made us feel like she was tired from traveling. She met us super early in the morning so that we could capture the most beautiful sunrise photos for our engagement shoot. She was an absolute trooper and never complained about carrying the heavy equipment that early in the morning. She took the time to ensure that we got the most beautiful photos. At the wedding, Marissa was very professional and everyone loved to be around her. Not a shocker - she captured the most phenomenal photos! I wanted a subtle but beautiful background and she delivered. The cake she was able to order and use was also beautiful. Eleshea is a true professional through-and -through. I ended up reaching out to see if we could push our time back, and she was able to work with us. The session itself went well. After meeting him while using his photobooth at a friend's wedding in 2011 (!!), I longed for a reason to work with Luxe Photobooth! Why? Well, the photos turned out beautifully, and I was able to order any size I wanted years later. Which worked out really well, because that wedding was one of the last times a big group of us were all together before a friend (who was also in attendance) was killed. So, we have those photos to last a lifetime, instead of just on a tiny little strip! I digress - fast forward to 2022. My brother was planning his wedding, and I decided to gift he and his fiance a photobooth. So, I finally got to work with Peter and Luxe! Peter was easy to work with, we worked over email to discuss a price quote and we were offered multiple options. I added an hour to our time limit for the event, and he went out of his way to make the entire evening special. Peter worked with Buffee Ann from Magical Moments to develop a really beautiful logo to use on our photos (he put a tartan kilt in the caption area as we had a Scottish wedding). He was incredibly personable and helped all of our guests take great pictures. The booth was pretty simple to use and he guided everyone through the steps, from choosing your filters to understanding the photo prompts. I'm not sure if this is common with photobooths these days, but Luxe had fun prompts for you to act out instead of whatever random photo you might have planned. :) This was a hit for our guests and I think everyone left the photobooth laughing. Peter also made sure all guests put in their email after the photos so they could have them digitally forever! He printed up extra copies, so all parties could take one home and made sure there were enough for people to add them to our photo albums we had available for guests to customize. All in all, this was one of the BEST experiences of the evening and I highly recommend Peter for your future event! I promise your guests will be delighted.
