Spots are a decent range of sizes. Our motor home fit everywhere. There are walk-in tenting sites,…read moreeach site has a fire pit and sturdy picnic table. Each site is treed, but younger new aspen/poplar growth. It's a bit of welcome shade, and white noise, but I'm guessing I should have brought the noise-cancelling headphones. You can see your neighbours through the trees, but spacing of sites is not crowded. Some spots are closer together for friend/family camping. Sadly, you can hear all the screeching and loud music at a distance - this is *family* camping. Pit toilets are clean, but the doors... thick, bear-resistant and *heavy*! You can find non-potable water for extinguishing fires and washing dishes. We pulled in really, really late, but gates were not locked. Quiet hours are 11pm-7am. We located our spot in the unserviced loop and found it to be nearly level. Set up a few temporary blocks and called it a night. There are sites offering power, but availability didn't match our dates. In the morning, the park staff came around to check our permit etc, happy to say hi to the beagle. Birds floating on the lake just steps away. If you look for a minute, there are a LOT of birds on the lake! First spotted a grebe, but didn't have my binoculars to look at the others on the lake. Definitely will explore the quiet spots to bird watch while we're here. Main roads are gravel, as are the sites. A paved pathway for accessibility, and a day-use area. Lake isn't deep enough now for boat trailer launches, so if you can't carry it, outta luck.
