The atmosphere was…read morewarm and inviting, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier--everyone we saw greeted us with a smile. Our room was perfect--surprisingly quiet with no outside noise, and the blackout shade was a game-changer, letting us sleep in without the morning sun waking us up. One of our favorite parts of the stay was breakfast at the Great American Grill, conveniently located just downstairs in the lobby. It's open from 7-11 a.m., which is later than most places--perfect for sleeping in and still making it to breakfast! You can choose the buffet or order from the menu, and we went with the latter. Everything was cooked perfectly. I loved that I got to customize my omelet, my bacon was exactly how I like it, and my friend's eggs and toast were made just right. Another huge plus is the location. Being in Cherry Creek, the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Plus, there are tons of great restaurants in the same parking lot, from Mexican to seafood--and even a Dunkin' Donuts! Honestly, I think we picked the perfect hotel for our trip, and I'd absolutely stay here again!

For a budget friendly price this semi upbeat hotel is under rated. My recent stays have been twice in the past few months. I'm impressed with the level of service in all areas of the hotel. Love my keyless entry but have had to engage with hotel front desk staff. Offered a bottled water to a quick can do attitude with ALL those I have encountered. The hotel is clean offering a nice lounge area, spacious dining with a full breakfast buffett and swanky bar at night that serves food. There are a variety of places to eat adjacent to the venue or within walking distance but the bartender in the bar is a lovely gal. The little bar area gets busy and she does not miss a beat. They serve yummy cookies at night, fresh water sometimes garnished with fruit, and coffee/tea in the morning. Nice little business area, small private gym and a pool. The rooms are nice, with room service offered every other day. My recent stays my toliet was spinning all night. When I called the front desk in the morning, they immediately sent someone up to repair it. No problems after maintenance left. Parking in the garage is $15 a night with plenty of parking. I'm just very overall impressed with the level of service provided.

The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, and every detail feels carefully curated. The amenities were top-notch and really elevated the entire stay. A huge part of what made my visit so special was the incredible staff. Braxton at the front desk truly set the tone from the moment I arrived. He was welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything about my stay was seamless. His genuine attentiveness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. At Toro, the hotel's bar, Michael, Gage and Juan were equally amazing. They were kind, personable, and clearly very talented behind the bar. The cocktails were exceptional--especially the blood orange margaritas and espresso martinis, which were some of the best I've had. They created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still delivering outstanding service. Thank you guys for the kindness! All around, this was an exceptional experience. I can't recommend The Clio Hotel enough, and I'll absolutely be back thanks to the incredible team and amazing amenities.

This should have been a five star review. First--the employees did a stellar job in mitigating what…read moreshould have been managed. I would give this hotel 2 stars otherwise. Hotel Clio in downtown Denver faces a huge commercial property construction. It's obvious that this construction has been ongoing for quite some time, but the website still allowed us to make reservations for a "King bed room, unobstructed mountain view." Coming from the flatlands of the Gulf Coastal Region, and a husband who still fondly remembers his years living in Denver, this sounded lovely. There were issues with driving onto the street for the hotel and accessing valet parking, and by issues I mean that we were locke coned in place for over 15 minutes, and the young man valet and his associate were valiantly fighting a battle against the logistics of the street closing at the end of the block by construction. It was chaotic. And also--something that should have been anticipated with again--an ongoing commercial project that has been going on for at least 2-3 years. Where was the manager or assistant manager that should have realized that the valet parking was an entire CF situation? Check in was two people going through all kinds of lovely service and explanations to one person with no reservations and one other guest, and the whole design with two chairs and a desk seated employee was more like a bank with people asking for a loan. Honestly, after 8 hours on the road traveling or flying all I want is to walk up to a desk and give you my info. Side note: employee at desk did not seem that familar with our Platinum American Express benefits to apply them. When we got to our room, the view was...a commercial construction site with two industrial cranes. Again, I have to credit George, the concierge, who managed the valet situation and immediately offered to waive the valet charges. George deserves a pay raise. So...it gets worse. The a/c died the second night of our stay-at 9 pm we were moving rooms. Manager Ivan handled it exceptionerally well, helped us lug our luggage, etc. with help from other staff. A fish stinks from the head down is an old but true idiom. I've left off how lovely the design of the bathroom was; how exceptionally nice it was to have the brighter lighting instead of the typically scarce cheap lighting, the L'occitaine toiletries that were truly nice. So three star for the response from staff for issues and otherwise, great hotel.

My husband and I joked that even if our wedding was a dud, the venue alone would wow people. The walk through video on their website is just a glimpse into the magic and joy that this spot holds!!! From the ceremony site options, to the bridal suite, to the dining area and the dance floor, we enjoyed all of the spaces this place has to offer. Our 108 guests loved the food, the drinks, and the views so much, they couldn't stop commenting all night on how beautiful and awesome this venue was. And our photos turned out incredible with the mountains, the river, the trees, and the outdoor lights. Dawn is responsive and helpful and she knows what she's doing! My one area of constructive criticism would be recommending that the venue provide a clearer timeline to the couples getting married. I typed my own up based on our meetings but the venue stated they'd send it a few times and never got around to it. Otherwise, I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about this spot. Hospitality is their jam. The rentable items like the arch and photo booth, the in-house decorations, and the food options are positively stunning. The staff is phenomenal, the on-site honeymoon suite was so clean and comfortable, and there was lots of space for kids to run around. An amazing AMAZING spot to make memories and start your married life with your partner off right!

It's a pretty small table I used for my make up and toiletries. There seems to be a general use location if you need an iron, they are not in each room. I luckily did not need an iron so I don't know what that room looks like or where it is. The only negative I found in the room was the fact that the toilet did not have a lid. I like to put the lid down when you flush and the fact that that was not an option was a little gross to me. What also was annoying is that Netflix kept lying on their TV. I was super grateful for a late checkout given the time I checked in. It was supposed to be noon and then got pushed to 2 o'clock and I definitely went over till about 2:15 pm.

Days later, we were able to relocate to more affordable lodging, which was still more expensive than what we had reserved. There we remained for the rest of our two-week vacation.
