I was amazed by the atmosphere in which Erica takes pictures in. The lighting, the music, the seating area for my husband to observe from. It was all so peaceful and calm. Erica was so gentle with our week old little girl. She slept practically the whole time; but when she didn't sleep, Erica was patient, loving, and gentle with her as she'd ease her back to sleep. Erica also pays so much attention to all the details. I had just given birth via c-section the weekend before. I honestly felt quite puffy still, and not super confident about what I had brought to wear. However, Erica had a rack of various sized gorgeous dresses available for her clients like me to try on. I was brought to tears a few times by the comfort and peacefulness I felt in her home, in her studio, and in my own body even after a hard c-section recovery. I was brought to tears because of the beauty and peace that surrounded her studio - her gentleness towards my baby, and for her love for what she does.
