They offer a small parking lot, which is a plus in the city. The staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space is laid out very well. Each booth gives its own unique vibe. The majority of the sellers had very well organized spaces. I have been collecting vintage evening bags. I was able to find a few treasures to bring home with me. I also found a few unexpected treasures. I felt the prices were reasonable and comparable to other shops in the area. I plan to visit again soon to see what other treasures I can find. Pro tip: wear comfortable shoes. The spaces is very large and it's going to take a little time to cull through all of the treasures.

They have two buildings you can enter and it wasn't explicit where to go but it's not a huge space to navigate. I took the 102 class and overall i enjoyed it. They gave all the materials, had sewing machines for you to use and the space itself is spacious. I did feel like the teacher wasn't sure how to support multiple people who had questions, it felt like she thought people knew much more on their own than we did. She was kind and offered lots of support I do plan to come back and finish out my gift card but I'm not sure if I would continue to come back after

City Sewing Room is an amazing resource for the St. Louis area! They take in donations and…read moresell/give back over 1700 pounds of fabric/yarn/sewing machines/notions a WEEK!! Keeping it out of a landfill! They teach classes and have drop in studio time. It is a wonderful creative place!
