The phone call from Mililani Town Florist just made my day We have a delivery for Gail and hubs, will someone be home? Oh YES!!! Never fails, our daughter who lives away ordered flowers for Easter 2020 the year of the Stay-At-Home Orders. As the caller alerted me, the delivery person would put the arrangement by the front door, ring the doorbell then leave. I must say this delivery gal was very akamai(smart) cuz she rang the doorbell. Many people pound on our door which drives our fur baby bonkers. Took me a while to get to the front door from our extension, pick up our frenzied pup and open the door. There awaited a most gorgeous flower arrangement in BOLD colors on the cement walkway in front of the doorway. As I looked up, a masked delivery person with the brightest twinkling eyes was waving and smiling back at me. Crazy right? I couldn't see her lips but I could actually see her brilliant smile as she said Have a nice day. In turn I said Happy EASTER with R Bebe in one arm and the chilled vase in my clenched fingertips. Ahhh, like a Hallmark moment, that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you are remembered and loved just brightens your day. They came through big time for us. My grandma's funeral was on the Monday after veteran's day weekend. Something came up and we needed white roses last minute for her decor. NO ONE had any! I've been coming here for years, specifically for the rainbow rose. It's my favorite (hint hint to the hubby, *cough *cough Mother's Day). I remember back when they were at Mililani Town Center, hubbs who was my bf at the time requested a rainbow rose bouquet arrangement and a Sad Sam doll (It was cute!) to be delivered to my work place around that area. Ever since then I would get the occasional arrangements just because, birthdays, and anniversaries. I recently returned on my own knowing that they have moved up to Mauka. Parking wasn't an issue. I usually have at least 2 or 3 interns a semester and thought this would be a unique gift to say Thank You!! They do not make *Lei Po'o's. (Haku lei is an incorrect term that I have learned.) Though I wish they did! I had inquired to request a dozen rainbow roses to make one on my own for a photo shoot but boy was it crazy expensive $$$$! I made a selection based on their website but substituted flowers that weren't available and they were very easy to work with. Needed a lei for a baby shower in Mililani so I stopped at Mililani Mauka Florist. It's located in the shopping plaza with Longs and McDonalds. In the same building as Mauka Chinese Cuisine & Poke Stop. It is a cute florist space that was adjoined by a pet shop. (They were separate businesses.) The refrigerators were mostly filled with floral arrangements, all very nice. They had a decent selection of lei with a few different varieties like white orchid, purple orchid, ilima, single tuberose, micro ginger, kukui lei, cigar lei, and some mixed lei. The prices for these lei ranged from $9-$32. They did have some orchid lei that were marked down to $6.95 because they were a little older...but they still looked good so I went with that. The girls working there were very nice and helped me right away. If you're in the Mililani area this is a great little florist. If you don't have time to stop by downtown for the big time florists, Mililani Mauka Florists do just fine! read more

Saw this florist when I came to work in mililani Mauka last week. Stopped in to see what they had for girls day and couldn't pass up the beautiful rainbow roses they had. I've never seen them before, and they had one arrangement left considering it was girls day. So decided to get it for my wifey. Good thing is, since I was working in area and didn't want to take it with and leave in vehicle, they allowed me to leave it there and pickup when I'm ready. PERFECT! However, I don't live in town so I am not always able to get there. If I'm not able to get to Chinatown, I head straight for Mililani Mauka Florist. It is very convenient for me. I started purchasing leis from them when they were located in the Mililani Towne Center. Now, they are located in the Gateway of Mililani Mauka. Whenever I walk into this florist, I'm always greeted. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like this florist because they remind me of a little gift shop. They not only sell fresh cut flowers, arrangements and leis. They also sell little gifts and balloons, too. Mililani Mauka florist also have pretty good deals. On many occasions when I need a lei, I check their reduced priced leis first. They sell their expensive beautiful leis half the price if it's a day old. When I went in on Thursday to buy a lei, I found an ohai ali'i lei for "10.95." I got a great deal for a beautiful lei. After I chose the lei, a staff attached a beautiful ribbon bow to it. So, whenever you need fresh flowers, arrangements, leis or gifts...head on over to Mililani Mauka Florist. Anytime I have a visit to this shop, I've only run into Chastine. Our kids have been friends since the 1st grade so I've always had great interactions with her. I called the shop at around 11am asking for a floral arrangement a friend and I spotted online. Chastine took my call and was so helpful. I gave her the code number for the item and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I asked if I would be able to have it ready same day as soon as possible. 3pm, perfect! You know when people say "its who you know", not even the case. My crazy brain thought she would know it was me by my name and voice lol. She had no idea it was me but was still the sweetest. And that's exactly the type of person she is, always! I think this is the only floral shop in the area, but regardless, I knew I wanted to support this business for a long time. Just needed a reason. On occasion I'll stop by browsing for pet items or to see what kinds of dogs they have. Who knew I'd actually ever buy flowers, not me! Glad to have had the chance to see what they offer. My husband has been getting me special occasion flowers from here for years & since moving to Kapolei, we haven't found a florist that does the same quality work. The flowers that come out of this florist are always fresh, fragrant and beautiful. Their arrangements are classy and tasteful. Last year my husband ventured into a different place and sad to say, I received wilted flowers. They deliver but not far outside of the Mililani area. I wish they delivered to Kapolei as it would make our lives easier. The store itself is small but they have flowers, bears, balloons, pretty much everything you need to gift the one you love. My husband is able to customize the arrangements with MTF and get a combination of my favorite flowers. Some places don't add "filler" flowers but I really love the look of baby's breath and don't mind it at all. I heard from a friend they're also great at taking last minute, "in a pinch" orders. Went in yesterday to pick up some flowers for my mom's belated birthday get together. I was glad to see they were open, since the Mililani Mauka Florist minutes from my home, was closed. Yes, it was Easter Sunday, but this shop was open. I found a nice little bunch of multi colored short stemmed roses for $ 7.95. I walked up to the counter where one girl was working on something while the other two were somewhat in the back, obviously not out to help anyone. Maybe they were working on other things. I stood around for a bit, paced in front of the refrigerated area. I finally figured since no one greeted or even attempted to help me, that I should just grab what I wanted. Hell, if they wanted to make a sale, they couldn't get on me for it. I took the roses up to the girl at the front register. Stood there for 1-2 minutes and finally blurted out, "I'm ready." I was a little irritated at that point. I was happy they were open, but just didn't get how no one seemed interested in the customers in the store. I've worked in various customer service oriented fields, and you always greet your customer, and see what they want or need. You try to have them leave happy with their product or service, hoping they'll return for repeat sales and for your own job security. Anyway, I then asked if there was any way to make the roses look better or a little special. The girl said she could spread them nicer. (I don't get how, there were only 9 roses and a sprig of baby's breath wrapped in plastic) So then I opted to put them in a simple vase and I added my own glass pebbles at the bottom with the ribbon the girl gave me to wrap a bow around the lip of the vase. I wasn't pleased with the customer service here. I went there because it was openWill they get my business again? We'll see. Maybe it was an off day for them. read more

I like that there is a florist in Mililani Mauka. This is the only place I go to for leis because it is most convenient for me, and I know the lei will be fresh. Whenever I have to place an order, I usually just call it in, let them know if the lei is for a male or female, scented or non-scented and I let her decide for me as I know she will provide what is fresh during my pick-up. The lei's are provided in plastic bags and not in a lei container, and that works just fine for me, usually easier to carry since when I order it's usually more than one and for an event at work. They also trust me to pay on pick-up, but I usually pay in advance since it's on my way home, or provide my cc number when placing my order. This florist also has a bunch of cute knick knacks such as wallets, note pads, pens etc, I usually pick up for a special little someone. Parking available right in front. read more
