It was $85 a night, impeccably clean, very nice owners (that have an adorable little dog in the front office. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy. The are basic and definately not renovated. But they were perfectly acceptable for $85, and clean and quiet was all that we were after, and it delivered. They gave us a little coffee maker with some coffee, and the room itself had a little bar fridge in it that we were able to put our snacks from the drive in. Outside the motel was welcoming with lots of bright colored flower pots. I don`t know that there are any other options in Coutts for hotels, but I don`t see why you would want to go anywhere else. It is no frills, but clean and comfy.

The owners are wonderful people who went above and beyond for me during a particularly rough day, they and their Inn were the best part of a brutal experience at the Coutts border crossing. Please give their place a chance if you can, covid has been really rough on small family owned and operated businesses and the Double Tree has not been an exception, and it is a real Canadian treasure that needs to stick around!!
