Crème Brûlée Donut
Brian M.

Such an aesthetically pleasing surprise! The interior has the cutest feminine flare, perfect for a girls brunch. The food was amazing, as well. We started with the crème brûlée donut-heaven sent. Would return for this donut alone. We tried the Iced Kylee drink and whipped fig ricotta crostini, as well. Both were delicious. The location in downtown Pitman is so cute and outdoor seating is always a plus. Service was quick and we got in easily with no reservation on a Saturday morning. Definitely will be back!

Fried Chicken Bánh mì

My sister and I had lunch here Friday 5.23.25. We both had the Fried Chicken Bánh mì with parm fries. Our server was Kat (or Cat?). She was very friendly and efficient. Interior is adorable. Food was delicious. I was honestly concerned about food quality because of some reviews I have seen. It being a very insta worthy interior it could be a style over substance situation. It couldn't have been farther from that. This fried chicken was the best I have had in a while. It had a thick very well seasoned crust and the interior was beyond moist. I was truly impressed. Fries were good too. I ordered the mixed berry lemonade flight. Cutsie flights are not my thing but I was too curious. They didn't taste like lemonade with add ons to me. They tasted like sugary berry shots. They looked good though. I won't do a repeat of anything like that. I was in the mood for lemonade. I would definitely return.

4.5 Loved this place from the start. The have outdoor seating in the front, garden seating in the back and even rooftop seating. Such a cute open friendly atmosphere. The menu looked so interesting and unique. Due to the holiday I got the milkweed breakfast eggs any style, I picked scrambled with bacon and their truffle potatoes with a side of fruit. I asked for some hot sauce on the side. I enjoyed everything. My friend got the pulled pork with prosciutto, mozzarella and basil. For those who like coffee they have coffee flights. Service was good, attentive for the most part considering how busy they were on a Saturday morning. I am looking forward to going again and trying so many different interesting items.

the seasonal drinks in the winter

I've been here twice and both experiences have been very good! Upon arrival, the staff tells you to sit where you would like. Menus are on the table in the form of a QR code. There is a lot of choices for beverages and food to choose from. Portion sizes are great; I usually have left overs. They do seasonal coffee drinks as well as signature drinks. Staff is always super nice, attentive & kind.

Smoked Salmon Benedict

This was such a wonderful experience! I was worried it might be one of those trendy brunch spots where the aesthetic matters more than the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Salmon Benedict and it was phenomenal. Our waitress was not only attentive but also genuinely funny, and made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. I really appreciate it when a server takes the time to build rapport and truly cares about the guests. Having worked in the service industry myself, I know how draining the job can be, so I really respect and appreciate servers who are able to maintain much positivity and energy. This spot has officially landed in my top 5 brunch places. If I lived closer, I'd be a frequent flyer, but it will absolutely remain my go to whenever I'm in South Jersey!!! Can't recommend enough!!

Love Milkweed! So cute and cozy inside. Staff is always sweet & service is always perfectly paced. Their coffees aren't my favorite, but they're good!

Smoked Bacon, Fontina, and Cheddar Cheese Omelet

I wanted to love it. Cash only is just annoying, nbd. The food was absolutely fresh. However $18 for a veggie omelette +$2 for cheese is just outrageous. The plain grits were fine but again a bit over priced. The lattes on their menu are impressive! I think they have a very fun ambiance and very cute plates/table set up. All of the food needed seasoning. Overall the brunch was fine but nearly $100 for 3 people.

"The Boss" Latte + BYOB champagne

We came in around 10am on a Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday. it wasn't as busy as I would think but presume we got here early enough. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Because we were early, we were able to sit ourselves which was nice as we ended up switching tables 3 time lol. The coffee/espresso options are great. I had a Skinny Latte and "The Boss". I didn't order any food but my wife ordered a short rib cheddar omelet and truffle Parmesan potatoes which she said was fresh and yummy. Did not need any condiments she noted. We also ordered the Nutella Doughnut bites which were the perfect small treat. Only deduction of the star was due to it being cash only which is a small inconvenience but all in all a good experience.

Horrible ran business. Owner is a nasty lady and food was horrendous. Manager also sucked and wasn't helpful either.

SO, decided to give them a try, as they aren't too far from me. (about 15 minutes.) Ordering was easy enough, but this process is what actually cost them the 5 star. I'll circle back to this.... The building is nice and spacious, with a very modern look and feel. Something that is awesome, if used as it should be, is basically a wall of hot boxes; lockers where they put your food that you can retrieve with a QR code. A GREAT idea, with a fatal flaw. Circling back now, that hot wall locker was actually my meals undoing. I placed a future pick up order a little bit before 5 pm. The pick up time was for 5:30. At 5:06, I get a message with a QR code, telling me that my food is ready to be picked up from the locker. Now, it's great that they wanted to keep my food warm for me, but they made my order almost THIRTY MINUTES EARLY, and put it in these sweat boxes. By the time I got to my food, my fries were INEDIBLE. The cheesesteak wrapper had condensation all over it. My meal was a sweaty mess. There is no reason to prepare food that early in advance, but with the lockers available, I'm sure it's something they do fairly often. Also, the sandwich is a slightly fancier version, with fried mushrooms and garlic aoili, but the mushrooms were soggy and pale and I couldn't taste a DROP of garlic aoili. Still, a decent sandwich so I'm not mad, but Waffa isn't good enough for me to drive past better places. This is supposed to be a DESSERT place, so maybe that's their wheelhouse, but I have a ton of those options near me as well. If you do go, they are weirdly situated next to a traffic circle, so you gotta pay attention to where you're going.

The space is a beautiful, unique blend of creativity and elegance, like stepping into a scene from Bridgerton. Every detail was thoughtful--from the delicate tea cups to the refined silverware--creating an atmosphere that felt straight out of a period drama. We took our time with the menu and chose carefully, ordering a delightful selection of tea sandwiches, mini desserts, and three different teas. I personally went for the Moroccan tea, and let me tell you--it was out of this world! The food was delicious, and we even had enough to take home. My personal favorites were the scones, the deviled eggs, and the adorable chocolate mousse cups. And the decor! The furniture was impeccable, and that plate glass wall installation is honestly one of the most stunning I've ever seen in a restaurant. I Highly recommend! And the server was great i wanted to try a certain one based on the description of flavors in the menu but when i asked her about it she did say it basically has a candy taste which i did not want so in glad she informed me. The food isnt good. Its not bad either. I think this is a good tea and afternoon tea spot. I wasnt crazy hungry for all the sweets that are part of the afternoon tea menu so i ordered a la carte and was disappointed. The chicken sandwich tasted like it was a cooked frozen patty, boring flavors. The crepe cake i had high expectations for but it tasted like it was from a day old grocery counter.

I haven't been here in a while but I always remember them having a pretty decent breakfast. When you arrive it has a decent parking lot, the area does get busy on Thursday-Saturday with people visiting the Amish Market that is located behind it. When we arrived the parking lot was pretty empty and it was around 8am. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated at a table to wait for the rest of our party! Our waitress was very friendly and grabbed us drinks as we waited. Once everyone was there she came by to check-in again, and let us know to take our time (she knew we were catching up so she didn't bother us to put in the order so fast.) The dining room also filled up VERY fast like 10-15 minutes after we got there! We put our order in, I got the two eggs and style and it came with home fries, toast and I added on an order of bacon, extra crispy. My Fiancée ordered the chunky monkey pancakes which were peanut butter chip pancakes topped with fresh bananas, walnuts, and Nutella. My dish was very good! I loved the home fries, which is something I don't get often living on the West Coast! The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the eggs as well! Overall my dish hit the mark perfectly! My Fiancée's dish was very good as well! She did say that if you love a sweet breakfast, this is definitely something you should order! They do not skimp out on topping the hotcakes with Nutella or walnuts and she said that it was really delicious! Overall, we had a great experience here. It's an average Diner in south Jersey so don't expect 5-star butler service. Its fast, convenient and friendly, growing up we used to come here all the time and it still feels liek the same restaurant quality to me!
