    1/2 pastrami

Solid Jewish deli food. Service was excellent. We had pastrami on rye, stuffed cabbage, a corned beef cabbage potato knish, motzah ball soup & split pea. Everything was very good. The knish was something wonderfully different. I wish there was a bit more potato filler but still good nonetheless. Pastrami portion was generous and tender. Soups were spot on. While the cabbage was cooked well and a good portion, it had a sweet taste to it. Not bad but not my cup of tea. If I'm in the area, I'll be back. Mill Basin Kosher Deli - In!

The best deli in NYC. So special in flavor and decor. A mirrored deli counter welcomes you in where you can order take out or to go. We sat in the very spacious dining room. Coleslaw & pickles arrive at the table. There are lunch specials daily. We both got those. Ate: Mushroom barley & matzoh ball Brisket Sandy & huge salad Frank Root beer Total : $56 Firstly, the coleslaw and pickles are delicious The soups were both great but the matzoh ball was perfection. My salad was ok, but it was not the best deli order. The brisket on a buttery brioche was also perfection. I found out the made the turkey salad with fresh turkey and picked up some to go which I would order again. Perfection.

Came here after seeing a promotional video by burratebabe on Tiktok. I ordered pastrami on rye with mustard, side of pickles, coleslaw, Russian dressing and fries to go. Total came up to $35 or so and I waited 5-6 min for my order. The sandwich was just ok. Opened it up and no mustard so liberally applied some. Pastrami meat was warm, but dry and under seasoned/salted. It left a lot to be desired. Sandwich itself was smaller than I expected. The best thing was actually the coleslaw. Customer service was great.

Stopped by on Thanksgiving before going to my friend's meal but we wanted to try their hot dog and their knish. But I didn't want to lose my appetite for Turkey. So we shared the hot dog and knish. Was delish. Will come back for the corned beef and/or pastrami. They were so warm and welcoming to us. There were people having an afternoon meal but also space for us to sit and enjoy our snack. Place had a very comfortable atmosphere. Definitely coming back when we are in the neighborhood .

My wife is from the area in Brooklyn and was craving Jewish food. We were visiting and went to see if it was as good as she remembered. We were not disappointed whatsoever. We ordered a ton to eat there and bring back to NJ. The cook/waiter greeted us and was very welcoming and friendly. The pickles and slaw they give at the start tasted excellent. We each ordered Dr. Browns sodas. For apps we had stuffed derma, corned beef & cabbage knish and chopped liver. All were delicious and made well and were served quickly. Yes, the service was excellent, kept table pre-bussed and server was patient and very nice! For entrees, wow man! I had the Gourmet Delight triple decker combo sandwich w tongue, corned beef and pastrami. It was divine! Others had pastrami sandwich and kosher Reuben (no cheese or Russian dressing), both enjoyed and took half to go. We also took home rainbow cookies, noodle pudding, and stuffed cabbage. Yeah, we let gluttony get us this time. Can't get food like that in Jersey! Looking forward to going back!

Classic old style kosher deli, pastrami was well above average. Fresh made French fries and the pickles were great.

We barely have any old school kosher deli's anymore, especially in south Brooklyn. This place is still decent.

Food: Smash burger are great, they are not the best but I would rank it as top 5 in the city. I was pretty surprised how they charge for cheese (the place is mostly Kosher, and the Cheese of I remember is vegan) which contradict the concept of smash burgers. The fries were overly cooked if not almost burned, so I couldnt eat half of the basket. Service: ordering regular fries and getting trufle fries just to charge me extra is not a nice move. But having those popcorn and water cup made up for it little bit. If I knew I would be charged that much (burger + fries) I would have chosen from the lunch special menu

I was told to take a menu from the counter and that I could have a seat. Tried to order a mint lemonade but they didn't have any mint. OK so I ordered a strawberry basil iced tea, which was refreshing, but didn't really have much flavor in my opinion. When I looked at the menu, they had a lot of different burger options but I settled for a Smashburger that was shown on a summer menu. However, I then watched the waiter offer two groups who came after me a lunch special menu that was not offered or mentioned to me. Had I known there were lunch specials, I would've checked them out to see if I wanted to order. So I was a little upset that these were offered to everyone except me. In terms of the actual burger, I found the patties to be way too thin, even for a smash burger. To me it left the burger, feeling kind of skimp and not fulfilling at all. I also ordered fries which were honestly the star of the show. Lastly, I didn't feel like the service was up to par. There was a large table in front of a door and the waiter kept yelling to people to not sit at the table because he needed to access the door. My question is, why place a table in a spot that you know you need to be able to go in and out of? And then on top of that when he gave me the bill, it said one price, however, after I paid and a receipt was brought to me to sign it, had a different price. What I think happened is he did not add the drink the first time and I didn't notice, but I feel like when this happened you should just say to the customer that you forgot to add something and here's a new receipt. There was also an automatic 15% gratuity, which I wasn't fond of. I spent $40 for a lunch that I barely liked. Way too overpriced and not worth the visit imo.
