My wife and I toured and really liked the place, everyone seemed nice. This was in the Spring of 2016, my wife had just started her 2nd trimester. When we were finished with the tour, we said we'd like to be put on the wait list for January of 2017 when our daughter will be 16 weeks old. They said that was fine, they had room for us. There was no deposit or official form to sign, just a verbal agreement and our information on a loose leaf piece of notebook paper. This felt weird to me, and I had my wife call back a few weeks later to again confirm that we were guaranteed a spot. We were assured over the phone that our daughter had a spot for January 2017 Today (8/22/16) my wife heard through a friend, that Mill Country Day School was full and no longer accepting new students due to siblings of existing students potentially starting in 2017. She called to see if we still had a spot. Nope, we are no longer guaranteed a spot in January 2017. They told us to find a back up daycare for our child, just in case they cannot take our child. Had we not called, we would not have found out this important piece of information. This seems very unprofessional. We are looking elsewhere for a permanent spot for our child. read more
