Friendly and fast, there was no waiting or bums and other transients hanging around like at other recycling places

I finally came here, and they were OPEN!! Had come before on a few occasions during their posted open hours, only to find them closed. No signage to suggest why. Today, I successfully recycled cans & plastic. The redemption rate is fairly standard. Staff was hard working and quick. Definitely worthwhile to stop here.. Tho, I recommend a quick call before coming in the future..to ensure they're open for business. read more

Been going here for a couple years and notice that payment does agree with volume I take. It's inconsistent I sometimes am paid less for more volume than on other occasions. Questioning the cashier doesn't help. He argues it's computer generated but, I watch him enter the values. Also, as on several other occasions, I arrived on 11/2/24 at 4:14 and the Closed sign was posted with the gate partially closed with a guy sitting in a car blocking access. The more you take the less you make. I had alot of cans. He gave me a problem on the amount of recyclables I had. Wanted to give the next costumer the cans.he did realize I new spanish. Tride to make the best of it but I feel like he shorted me anyways. read more

I took some cans for recycling today at this place. The attendant was kind of arrogant. He grabbed the container with the cans, put it on the scale and stood up in front of me blocking the display. When he gave me the receipt I made a comment that he should let customers see the weight shown on the scale before removing the cans. He looked at me and said that if I want to see the weight, next time to stay they there, pointing with his finger on the side. Not to mention that he couldn't hear me first because of the blasting music and he had to go and turn the sound volume down. That was my first and last time here, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, bad management. read more

I take the same amount every time I have 7 55 gallon containers. When they are completely full I take them in. Average 85- 95 dollars. One full of aluminum can and six plastic. This time I had two 55 gal cans of aluminum cans recieved $63.38. They got me. New person working. How do you know if they are skimming off your recyclables. System is flawed. I felt like I got ripped off. read more

This place has gone down . The owner was very friendly . Now they have rude employees. This has been the third time I've went there and either I'm always ignored I can be in front of the line waiting patiently to get trash barrels and the employee will ignore me and take the person behind me . Rude employees who cheat customer. When asked to reweigh order, get an attitude. Also threaten bodily harm if one doesn't move out of their 'work area's, while I was trying to read signage to find a number to lodge a complaint. (As they, Farhad and his 'wife' refused to provide a number) Tried to bully and threaten me. No doubt Farhad was angry at being called out on shorting me for aluminum. Perhaps Farhad should get a less 'stressful' job. Doesn't do well dealing with the public. I will not be returning nor recommending this recycling center. Too bad! read more

Call me dumb for trusting this guy and not counting my money until I got home. I have a receipt that says $81.35, but only got $61.35 in cash. This is not an adding mistake, this is a guy stealing from his customers. I won't be back. read more

The California CRV program is a scam that makes the state millions because they charge 5/10 cents a can/bottle when you buy them, but hardly anyone takes them to a recycle center to get their full refund. Millenia Recycle Center is one of the few non-shady places that will give you that money back, but you have to know how to do it. You can only take 50 cans and 59 bottles a trip, and be ready to count them out for the employee there. I stand mine in rows that can be easily counted, in cardboard flats. If you're nice, and they aren't too busy, they may let you bring more than 50 at one time. read more

We ended up here because the recycle places in Phelan were closed. The guys here were very nice and the place was clean and organized. It's small but easy access. We both like it. We will probably bring our recycling here from now on. There is also a really nice spot to drop off cloths and shoes too. read more

Nice workers, I'm always in and out and if I make a mistake (usually with what kind of plastic I'm recycling) they're very nice about it.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. Today my kids were shorted on glass recycling. They were reimbursed at one cent a pound instead of 10. When I showed Farhad the receipt to confirm that a mistake had been made he argued with me that we were reimbursed at $.10 a pound and I just can't argue with stupidity if he doesn't know how to do decimals. And then he told me that the computer does it automatically and there's nothing he can do about it. I believe he pocketed the $10. He said that he's been there for two years and that his customers all love him well this customer does not sit. Be aware. read more

This is the place. Other recycling facilities are nasty. Both in cleanliness and demeanor. The staff here is organized and professional. The grounds are well kept with plenty of parking. Redemption values are clearly posted at market value. You'll be in and out fast. Cash in hand. read more

I have been going here for years. The guy was working today initially miss counted my plastic. This is not the first occasion with this individual but the 4th for my family. It happened twice for me. The first time I called him on it, he fixed it. This time however he weighted 3 of my 4 bins and would not add in the 4th and was rude. When I said he was wrong he said I had to leave. I was polite and I did leave but I will not go back enjoy the stolen $4. I also tried to call the owner but no answer. read more

Quick service... easy to pull up, get your recycling done, and be on your way. Misting system makes the outside heat slightly bearable. Decent amount paid for recyclables. Friendly employees. Just make sure to show up before the last 10 minutes, since they close a little early to shut the shop. read more
