We had visited once maybe 4 years ago (before the COVID pandemic) and I was surprised that I had not reviewed at that time. It is a nice steakhouse, fancies itself as being upmarket and it does deliver. Ambience today was warm and pretty quite (3-4pm on a Friday. Our server was friendly and attentive, and my 12oz ribeye did not disappoint and it came with all the trimmings including a peppercorn sauce, chips and a lettuce wedge with Stilton and a blue cheese dressing. Add a small glass of the South African merlot - close to perfection. Don't bother with the summer cocktails from what we experienced - they were "out" of the sea salt (Margarita without a salted rim??? And the strawberry Margarita had no strawberries just some strawberry syrup).
Mrs G loved her cheeseburger (without the cheese) and their ice cream is delicious.
