My mom told me that the motor to her fan blower was bad and that she would have to replace the whole system, because the motor was no longer made according to Earnhardt. I question it. They had already quoted her a whole new system $8K and had requested financing. I told her to wait and I did the research. I sourced a new motor and put it in myself and saved my mother a lot of money. I realize not everyone has my resources, but it is always better if you can get a second opinion. I am just disappointed and this furthers my mistrust of the industry.

I even asked for the price prior to, and called twice for it, just to be handed a bill that was quite a bit more and due immediately. We were obviously upset, but were never contacted afterwards. It felt like a cheap shot, because there was nothing we could do and the service was completed. I think that was the worst part, especially because we had utilized them a few times and recommended them to so many. If you do decide to go with Earnhardt, please get an estimate in writing instead of trusting someone over the phone.

They were very prompt in getting to their house after the issue was reported and the technician was friendly. Here is the problem: The reported problem was simply an out pilot light. 2 hours and almost $550.00 later, the pilot light had been relit. So the original complaint had been they had no hot water... after relighting the pilot light the technician did not even check to see if the problem had been fixed (it had not) still no hot water. the following day my parents had to have plumbers install a new water heater which did fix the initial hot water issue. How does something as simple as relighting a pilot light and cleaning out the grate behind & around said pilot light add up to almost $600.00? everything i found said electricians typically charge $50-100 per hour. this was a wednesday, it was not after hours or any extenuating circumstance i would think called for "special rates". both of my parents are on a fixed income and now have to come up with this outrageous amount of money because the technician claimed the light went out due to dust from not being cleaned out. again if that was the case then why wouild it be back out today?

After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

Draw your own conclusions on contacting them since I didn't use the service this is based on communication and the lack of follow through on their part.

I called on 10/8/25, requesting an electrical diagnostic on my washer/dryer outlet to verify the voltage for the LG manufacturer. I was quoted the price of $89 for the diagnostic--a price confirmed twice. The technician, "Chris," arrived on 10/12/25 (after a reschedule). Without touching or testing anything, he immediately demanded an additional $200 fee, claiming the initial $89 only covered his trip and not the actual diagnostic--a clear bait-and-switch. I requested he at least document the outlet's wattage on the receipt so I could relay the information to LG, but he failed to do so. I called customer support and was transferred to "Kayla" in dispatch, who confirmed the potential for a $200 detailed diagnostic fee but could not logically explain how it was determined without the technician inspecting the unit. When I questioned this, she became unhelpful, displayed an attitude, and simply stated she could call the technician and cancel the job. He was already on site. I paid $89 for absolutely no electrical service or useful information. This company is dishonest about its upfront pricing. Do not use Eanes.
