Came here on a Saturday night at around 6:30 with family. There was a long wait (I was told about 50-55 minutes, it turned out to be around 40-45), but that was told to us from the start, and, having had good experiences at their Springfield Location previously, we didn't mind waiting; we figured by the time we got up and went somewhere else where there would also likely be a wait, we would wind up waiting the same time, so we stayed. We chose poorly. Upon being seated, a server came rather promptly, and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered 1 soda, 1 cocktail, and one beer. The beer was listed on the menu as on tap. After a little while, the server came back with two of the three drinks, but explained they didn't have the beer I ordered, and asked if I wanted anything else instead, so I picked a different one. She then left, and came back a few minutes later with my beer. By now, we had all looked at the menus, and had closed them, and she asked about appetizers. We placed ours, but she left right away instead of staying to take our entree order. This meant that we had to wait until all the appetizers were heated and served before ordering our entrees. My appetizer was a bavarian pretzel. It was large and came with a cheese sauce and a mustard for dipping. It tasted good, and both sauces were nice. I preferred the cheese, the mustard was a little too vinegar-y for my liking, but this is a preference For entres, Dad ordered Shrimp and Pasta Alfredo, I ordered Pork Osso Buco, and my brother ordered a sandwich (I forget which one, possibly the prime burger, but the server asked him to hold on a moment because she thought they may be out of them; to see if they had any, she stepped away, and came back to say they did). A few minutes later, however, she came back to say they didn't have any after all. So instead he asked for a french dip, and they didn't have any of those either. Eventually, he settled for the Asian chicken breast salad. When the food came out, I was told that the other two entrees were fine, but there was a problem with my pork, and they had to make sure it was right. But they didn't want to leave me without anything, so could they bring me anything else to hold me over. I asked for a cup of soup: Italian Wedding. It was not bad, but was a little salty. When my pork eventually did come out, it was cooked well. It was tender, not tough at all, but it was also seasoned with a lot of salt. Decor-wise, it is set up like other Millers' locations. It is casual, decorated like a chain attempting to be a neighborhood sports bar. The staff was friendly, but Multiple cases of running out of my beer, and my brother's sandwiches (pretty early in the evening), and not knowing they were out of them took 3-star food, and made it a 2-star night. Not great. I will not be returning any time soon. read more

Waitress was terrible asked for utensils she brought out o ne napkin with 2 knives and 2 forks what a joke ordered prime rib side was so small one little scoop of mash potatoes prime rib was so tough knife barely cut it just all around horrible experience never go back read more

We ate at Millers last weekend. The service and food were good. Their prices were reasonable. It is noisy though. The kitchen is open to the bar and restaurant. I could hear them calling out food and yelling over the kitchen noise. I heard one very loud female employee holler I am doing my job sir and you can leave if you don't like it! I have been to other restaurants where the kitchen is open and there is little chatter. C'mon Millers your customers deserve a pleasant atmosphere while dining. read more

The food at miller's ale house was not good. They said that the ribs that they had were frozen and that they were trying to defrost them and they still served those ribs and said if it taste bad we can order something else. The ribs were not good so we ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. Millers should have never served ribs that they were not sure that were gonna be good enough to eat. The restaurant does have a lot of televisions to watch sports which is why I went to watch some sports and eat. I would not come back for the food but maybe just to grab a drink and watch sports. read more

Service was horrible. Waited over a hour for drinks and the place was empty. Food also took for ever to come out and wasn't the good. I just want to say I rarely come here ever since I had a bad experience at a different millers but media millers killed it , to be more specific our bartender Alicia Made everything amazing she had a great personality and smile , told us where the drafts where right away and specials also put a coaster out before we even ordered our drink , the food came out fast and hot I was honestly shocked at how great our experience was definitely coming again !!! read more

Stopped for dinner and absolutely loved the food but oh my, they have my favor whiskey sour. It is by far the best I've ever tried. We travel from the Midwest about once a month and this place is always on our list as a must stop. The decor is very unique and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Worth the wait? Jury's still out. It's just ok bar food. The drinks are great. Service was bad and wait times are horrendous! We tried to go here 3 times. Each time we were quoted a 55 minute wait time. There were empty booths. I was confused. Regardless I'm not waiting 55 mins so we left. Finally got in at 3:3o on a Saturday with only a 40 minute wait time. Ugh. The server apologized every time she came to our table. Probably because she knew she was doing a terrible job. The food took longer then it should have for chicken fingers and a burger. I gave it 3 stars because we did like the food and drinks. The pitcher of Tito's strawberry lemonade was my favorite part. I have been here about 6 times and every time there is an issue. Poor service, undercooked food, slow greet times, overcooked food, and finally being out on a wait for a table when there is nobody in the restaurant. What a difference between this location and the location in Springfield. We waited about 40 minutes to get sat but it was well worth the wait. Our server Trisha was fantastic. She made some good recommendations and was extremely accommodating. Pot stickers were amazing, salad was fresh with great toppings. Burger was out of this world and prime rib sandwich was delicious. Finished off the meal with captain jack's buried treasure which was outstanding as well. I used to really like millers in Springfield but their service and food quality have gone down hill dramatically. So I am very happy this location has opened. Can't wait to go back!!! read more

Oh boy. Got excited to order this until everything went downhill the moment I opened it when I got home. Got a full rack of ribs and you'd think you could make a wig out of the amount of hair in it. I kid you not there was a hair on every single rib. I didn't know whether to be impressed or mortified. I should have stopped eating once I noticed that, but I was so hungry I was cranky. If you're a man reading this and have a wife who gets mean when she's hungry you'd get it. If you're a woman you get it. If you're whatever sexuality you want ya get it. Hangriness is all exclusive girl. On top of that, I ordered a steak medium rare. The steak was so undercooked I swear I could hear the thing still mooing. I get that everyone here is no Gordon Ramsay and ordering mashed potatoes was my fault, but something about that first bite tasted like an old guy really needed to clear his throat and got a good ol one in it. I can't complain about the cold fries, because it was a pickup order and fries get cold fast. I enjoyed all of the 5 fries I got in each order. Usually, I'm pretty chill about stuff like this because I work at a restaurant myself and shit happens, but after my first bite of steak the floodgates opened and I'm on my trip across the street to riddle. About 5 minutes after finishing the living cow in that box my stomach has been entered by Satan himself. It's like when Mary got impregnated by baby Jesus or whatever it is, but I got completely filled with satans shit. If I needed a colonoscopy tomorrow my doctor would love me because of how cleared out my insides are plus some more. I have never felt so sick in my entire life and regretted spending 60 bucks. Actually, I've regretted spending 60 bucks a lot of times. Anyway, the food sucked. I definitely won't be coming back but again, I work in the restaurant industry so I know saying that isn't shivering anyone's Timbers. The only shivers being timbered are mine and that's because of the food poisoning I'm currently dealing with. I don't wish what's going on with me on my worst enemy. Hope you got a laugh out of me coping with this incident. But seriously guys, please make sure you at least try to do something about the food issue. Food poisoning sucks so bad. I don't want you to have to deal with a Karen coming in clutching her knockoff Louie bag and screaming at you. But that's not me. I'll be cool in 48 hours and I guess I'll just call this a *detox*. Aspen received us with a friendly greeting and happily reseated is as the sun was bright on the table and there were no shades to lower in the bar area. She made several recommendations as this was our visit after trying to visit during Thanksgiving but the restaurant was not officially open at that time. We had a couple of hiccups with the food preparation which was caught in the kitchen prior to delivery. An African American manager came out and explained what had happened and apologized for the error and made it right! We took Aspen's suggestion of the "busy frozen cake" that had oreo's, caramel, etc. Good food and serve! read more

We have been to the Millers in Springfield about 100 times since it opened. This location is smaller but it is brighter, more open, the staff was extremely friendly. The food was good. I tried something I never had before the mega zingers with honey BBQ sauce and they were delicious I would order them again. My boyfriend had the cheeseburger and fries he said that was the best burger in the area. The fries were a little spicy for his taste but in the end we will definitely be back. read more

The fact that I walked into this facility with my boyfriend to an employee at the door who had her back turned to us and did not speak, followed by having to wait over 10 minutes for someone to get to our table and even greet or say hello; I'm appalled: I usually go to the Miller's on Baltimore pike and it's a hit each time, my star rating had changed considering the fact that our server finally came over and informed us that no one made her aware that we were even over here and she comped our appetizers and the remainder of our service was super sweet. I think I'll stick to Baltimore pike, I know mistakes happen but this was my boyfriend's first experience, he is not usually to phased by customer service by I take it completely serious. read more

Ordered some food for pickup I placed it for 10:30 I got there 10 mins early they told me the food wasn't ready I said that's fine so I waited 10:30 comes around food still isn't ready. I get my food at 10:50 20 mins after the deferred time. I asked why it took so long their response we are still cooking the food which was fine until I got in the car to check If had all the food & if it was hot, THE FOOD WAS COLD & I bought the Cajun chicken pasta NO CHICKEN OR BREAD CAME WITH THE PASTA when advertised it did. Service and Food were pretty good. I ordered grilled chicken zingers which were raw in the middle when i cut them, obviously a big problem. However, they handled it properly and professionally (removed from bill, remade the food, offered salad ect while i waited). Things happen, i understand and they are new and were very busy. We will be back based on the quality of the other food, variety of beers (local ones a plus) and simply b/c they handled the mishap properly. read more

We have been going weekly Thursdaay nights since they opened back up. Unfortunately, because of work schedules we can't get there till 8 or 8:30 pm. There are always at least four of us, usually six people. Every single time we feel rushed and practically thrown out. We don't ever feel like they are glad we came. Our tables average bill is always about $140 plus. We always tip in excess of 20%. I honestly don't think they want us to come if we are coming that late. When things first opened we understood that everything closed early, but now things are open till later except for this place. One of the male servers who we had a lot in the beginning was great, but the rest rush us. The food is good, beer is cold, but starting this week we are headed to another restaurant. I go to Pj Whelihans once a week with a big group of people, decided we would switch it up and give this place a try. Got there around 7 place wasn't busy, got our order taken around 735-740, food came in around 830. Food was clearly just microwaved as everything was stuck together. Waitress was arrogant thinking I had a fake I.d when I am 25 years old. Clearly lacks management and good staffing, I've had better experience at fast food restaurants. Went for lunch and college basketball on a Saturday afternoon. Sat at the bar with Tiffany and Lindsey. Love that they have all day every day drink specials - very well priced. We ordered chicken fajitas and center cut sirloin medium rare. Very well priced and wow amazing. The fajitas were perfectly season with not too much salt. The sirloin was with broccoli yum and a perfect baked potato. Tiffany was the perfect bartender we didn't wait for a drink and multiple times she checked in to see if we needed anything else.
