It has old creaky wooden floors and yellow Formica counter-tops, tables and benches that scream 40s. The food, desserts and ice cream are good. And they taste better when you sit down and eat it in the store because you feel like a kid. They do have other stuff for sale and some even over the counter medicine, but no pharmacy anymore.

Everyone there is very knowledgeable and know what kind of scrubs the local nursing programs are wearing, so if you're a new nursing student definitely check this place out. Some of the slight drawbacks: 1) The policy is EXCHANGE ONLY on UNUSED merchandise within 90 days. I mean this makes sense since no one wants used medical scrubs going back on the racks for resale. So just make sure you're 100% satisfied with your purchase, or there is something else in the store that you can exchange it for. 2) The older sales woman that works there (I believe she is the owner but I'm not quite sure) is a little TOO PUSHY for my tastes. On the two occasions that I've been there she has followed me around the store wanting me to "try this style" or "try that color." It is never in a suspicious "i think you're stealing something" way, she is just being an overly friend/overly pushy sales person. However I'm the kind of person that likes to take my time and look through the racks before making my purchase, and I don't need someone pushing other merchandise on me. I am a diabetic. We jumped through so many hoops trying to get the medicine I truly needed. This went on for weeks, then we were told one day they had it in stock but when we went to get it the very next day we were told they had been out of it for a long time and had no idea when it would be back in stock. Basically we were lied to. My daughter was always treated rudely by one employee when she would go in to get my refills. It was ridiculous to treat someone this way. Finally upon realizing we were lied to, I moved my account to the Wal Mart Pharmacy and I had my diabetes meds the very next day. No hold ups, no problems of any kind. It has truly been an awful experience, but we kept giving them the benefit of the doubt until it was putting my health in danger. Thank you to the staff at the Walmart Pharmacy.

One weekend, my son dropped the bottle and the pharmacist on call came in for me and made the drug for my child. The people that run the registers are always nice and I like the free drink while I wait.
