This is our 2nd trip with our 5th wheel and once again super impressive. Full hook up and right near the lake - perfect for us & our fur baby Lots to check out and the area was only busy on the weekend. Nice restrooms & shower area too. Camp hosts seem to rotate, but usually avail if needed.

We had a great time here! Weather was perfect but I know it would be so hot in the summer. It was beautiful and even though the lake is way down in water level it was really nice. Beautiful area, views of the lake incredible. We had a full hook up RV spot and would definitely recommend but not after May as the sun was very intense.

Every time you visit Millerton Lake SRA, be ready to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery this place has to offer. We are local to the Fresno County area, so this has been a spot our family frequents for the spring and summer time! You'll see plenty of others enjoying activities as swimming, kayaking, fishing and hiking. It gets really busy when you see everyone camping at Meadows Loop Campgrounds! Park attendants and rangers have always been very kind and informative. There are two entrances. Maps are available at each pay station. I believe there are areas currently restricted to help rebuild and preserve but most of the lake is easily accessible. Don't forget to pick up your trash and leave the wildlife alone!

Access to water and shade is the name of the game. #115 was a great spot for both. Top 5 spot at the campground guaranteed

Quick review: Came here to camp for the weekend and it was a nice area and cleaner than I expected. Every morning the bathrooms were cleaned up and the trash was removed. The lake area was clean. Overall was nice place to relax for a few days. The campsite has actual flush bathrooms and showers (need quarters to use) && porter potties all through the site as well.

We love camping here! There's 2 sides to enter which is either the Madera side or the Fresno side. All of the camp sites are great with clean public restrooms and some with shower accommodations. The lake is big as is the beautiful views.

My co workers decided to throw a non work event at Millerton Lake to do an early celebration of the 4th of July. Being a Fresno Native this was my first time going to Millerton Lake. It is a very convenient drive it is past Woodward park driving as if you are going to Table Mountain Casino. I enjoy going to the beach and Millerton reminded me of a Minnie beach as they had waves! One of my co workers managed to get to Millerton early and save a spot until we got there. I totally entered at the Madera side instead of the Fresno side and had to track all the way back. The spout that we had was perfect as it was close to the bathrooms and the lake and it was shaded perfectly. Although we had shade it was still hot. The grounds were clean and we all had a good time. There was BBQ-ing going on from the men, the kids playing and adults were chatting it up. Overall, it was nice get together with my fellow co-workers and I am looking forward to going back. Definitely a nice spot to relax to and chill.

"lake" is the lowest I have ever seen, despite record breaking rainfall this year. Ranger refused to refund my money saying water level has nothing to do with admission price. EXCUSE ME, ITS CALLED MILLERTON LAKE, WATER LEVEL HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH ADMISSION PRICE, or call it DRIED UP DIRT HOLE. Don't waste your time or money, ruined my memorial day. Shame on you, charging extra for this disgusting trap.

Millerton Lake low but still beautiful.

Lake was way down but we are in a drought. RV sites are very very wide with large shade trees and fire rings, nice cement picnic tables at each site. Staff very friendly. 5 stars but we had a hard time finding the campground. Not very many signs pointing to the campground. Watch for the one sign pointing towards the campground or you will end up on the far side of the lake. And it's quite a drive back around to the campground. After we found it the views are great. Will be going back again. Great place to go for walks. Dog friendly.

One of the few parks where I could park by the lake. Good for people who enjoy water sports from kayaking, jet skis, boats or just plain swimming. I camped a few times already here & enjoyed the day too. Thumbs up to Millerton lake state park.

Love this place. Right in my backyard. When I need to get away, for a few days, this is my "go to spot". The Camp Hosts are wonderful people. They're there, if you need them, otherwise they let you camp in peace. The other campers are always willing to help.

Tranquil. Peaceful . . . you can hear a pin drop it is so quiet, so serene at Millerton Lake. See map for Millerton Lake's location: http://www.parks.ca.gov/lat_long_map/default.asp?lvl_id=226 Road from Millerton Lake-if you make a right turn from leaving Millerton's access road, you are on your way to Yosemite=back roads. Go to town of Friant-buy food supplies and fill gas tank completely. If you go here in November/December-bring snow chains! All electric hook-ups at Oak Campground. Very Cool place to pitch a big tent oggling majestic scenery of the Lake. I reserved Campsite 117= the best unobstructed, private view of Millerton Lake. Awesome. I brought my electric heater, electric blanket, 50 ft. outdoor extension cord, electric outdoor strip socket, and electric lamp: used these items inside my dance hall tent! My sister, her children and I were cozy and very warm sleeping inside the tent. Smart, eh? Steel/cement bear cabinet at each campsite. Bring your own padlock to lock bear cabinet. Wooden shade awning built for each campsite. Water hook-up available at each campsite, too. Please bring lots of quarters for hot showers. BTW: Seven Miles into Friant-there are gas stations, grocery stores and pizza shops available. New housing development in process of being constructed. Check out buying a lake house here for much less than SF City homes are worth. Shopping and Costco gas station is on main drag and highway 41 heading South towards Fresno.

I used to love exploring that area and walking through the water and trees and finding spots we called a "jacuzzi" cus it was a hole with rocks around it with the water flowing. Over 100 degrees weather is the perfect weather to get into this kind of water. There's plenty of benches and you can bbq there. Theres even a walking trail. This was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration, but instead the condition and performance of the boat completely took away from the experience. We noticed nicer boats they owned but when asked how we could get the nicer one they said just depends on what's available so you have a 30% chance of getting a nice boat since there was a like 3 nicer boats. We told him that we were interested in looking at a Yamaha Boat. He said it was in the other showroom and we took the club car down the street to their extended property. Didn't realize how many boats they had in stock. When it came to making the deal he was not pushy, got us extra discounts within reason and spoke to Jack (the owner) to see what else they can do to sweeten the deal. Jack was pleasant, probably stressed with how busy they were that day, but still took the time to work with us to get the price right for our purchase. When we came back the next week to pick up the boat they were very good in going over the entire boat and features as well as inspecting every angle. They include basic safety gear 4 life jackets and a throwable that you can exchange for credit if you already have gear. The workers hooked up the boat and trailer to our hitch and we were on our way. It gets busy here especially around 10-11am with people getting service for their boats. A lot of drop offs and pick ups. Definitely plan on coming early when they open. Customers come in stressed but Jason, Jack and staff stay cool and calm to help everyone with their needs. They then told us the $1,000 was only good for 5 days (first time hearing that!) It was actually the 3rd business day as we had a holiday weekend. If this is how dishonest they are selling it, imagine what else they may be dishonest about behind the scenes! Jack's way to make things right was to offer more expensive boats.. The only boats the owner, Jack offered added more than $10k to the original price. Jack knew we were approved, They could care less we dinged our credit and most likely figured since we were approved; we could be easily forced into a more expensive boat! Jack "offered" two other boats that were way more money! ((Their only goal)) You've been warned.

In summary, the whole buying experience was truly great in every way. Jake, did his part to understand what I was after and intuitively took me a bit further down a less-expensive road, whatttt?! And, he made the right call. Also, he worked with me as I worked him on the price. We did not frustrate, but methodically worked out a fair price, and he certainly held up his end of the bargain. For that alone, he gets 5 stars! Next, the boat checkout. I was probably an easy customer having been around boats all my life. Nonetheless, Dillon (sorry Dylan, if I butchered your name!) was timely, efficient, patient, and willing to help and answer any and all questions in the parking lot, on the lake, and on the ramp. 5 stars. Matt, the main service guy. This is a tough one because I know boats and love to work on them, buuuuutttt I had to let go and have Matt "geeter dun" as I had little time. We had to come to terms on several technical issues and haggle a bit on the cost, but his patience, experience, and knowledge resulted in a very sano install for a reasonable price. In the end, he and his crew did an excellent job installing ballast, batteries, prop, full engine service, trailer service, and he got us on the road promptly and confidently on a Saturday morning before a 400-mile tow. The tow went without incident, and the boat ran great. Thanks Matt! 5 stars. Cameron. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Hung with us through a 2-hour shopping spree including boat stuff, life jackets, wake surfers, and wake surf gear. Gear selection was good, but not quite Overton's or iBoat (duh!). Regardless, Cameron was extremely helpful and earned his 5 stars too! Dusty. Came and went, but checked on us often to ensure that all was good. He exuded customer care. 5 stars. Last but not least, Ann. She was obviously efficient at what she does and provided concise and friendly closure to our experience at Boulder Boats. Pretty sure she went an extra yard or two with the DMV while procuring our plates and registration. Big thanks Ann, 5 stars! All in all, a pleasurable and awesome experience with a really great team of individuals. Pretty sure this is not the norm when it comes to buying a boat. We would gladly do it again!
