So I was pleasantly surprised at how orderly and smart the shop looked, and the quality of the gear was a pleasant surprise: definitely mid-range, but good value. Staff were friendly and helpful too. The only downside is that, being small, they might not have everything you're after. But worth a look.

I have to mention them by name as they are a credit to the shop and although I've not always gone away with the item I went specifically in for I've always come away with something else that I've worn and found more than ideal for purpose. I'd been looking at and humming and ha-ing over a pair of Peter Storm walking boot/trainers for several weeks but due to them being end of season wasn't able to get a pair in my size. I did eventually end up buying a wonderful alternative pair, that I use with a pair of boot socks every day when I walk my dog Albert. He is also warmly welcomed into the shop and would much rather come inside here than the pet shop next door! I was almost winded when I thought they were closing down but was quickly put at ease when told they were having a warehouse closing down sale clearance only! I'm in the shop whenever I come to Fleet from the next village with my Mum and we are more than happy with the service and dedication as well as friendliness, expertise and all round amazeballsness of the staff there. I've previously worked in customer service at luxury brand level in a high profile London department store for 10 years and the staff there have nothing on Kendra or Prabash. They are a true credit. Staff were very friendly and helpful on our visit and they had s good sale in - although there's competition from Millets and Sportswear Direct, both a minute's walk away.

Visited the last week in August and the park is very popular…read more Shower blocks clean and one of the blocks has big private changing rooms for families. the kids adventure playground is great and we loved watching the red kites flying around. there is a pub in the village which is very popular and another one on the main road they both do very good food. Riverbank is great for picnics. Kids didn't want to leave!
