If you are scared of high tech gyms where people with perfect physiques go to admire their muscles,…read morebut still want to keep fit, then the Barn is the gym for you! I joined 18 months ago and it's the first time I haven't given up on a gym membership even before the trial period ran out - I love it there. The reasons I stuck with it are the quality of the equipment on offer, the great variety of classes available in the studio that keep you from getting bored with your workout as well as the fact that it is never so busy you've got to wait ages for a particular machine. Above all it's to do with the great friendly atmosphere created by the team of fitness instructors who are always happy to give advice, motivate and chat. They provide you with a fitness assessment and a tailor-made programme when you join as well as regular update reassessments, if desired. There is also a sauna and steam room, a couple of sunbeds and supervised children's area which needs to be booked ahead as well as a treatment room for physiotherapy and sports massage. The changing rooms are clean and tidy with lockers, showers and hairdriers available but there are no free towels provided. The opening hours should suit early birds as well as night owls. The prices are very reasonable compared to other gyms in Cambridge, it is possible to pay monthly as well as annually and they offer a student discount.
Pleased to be the first to review! Rabble's philosophy is that exercise should be fun, so their…read moregames are throwbacks to childhood and the playground (British Bulldogs, Dodgeball, all variations of Tag, Frisbee, Robin Hood, Zombie Hunt) and the equipment involves bouncy balls, Nerf guns, foam javelins, and (at one point) and inflatable banana. I once tracked a game with GPS and ran 5k within one session. They're reasonably priced - I've bought two £50 packages, each of which covers 10 games to be used anytime - and switch between North, South, and City; once a month is an epic North vs South playoff. Before you think this is like BMF but with "childish" games, come check out a session. Everyone enjoys themselves all the time. (Compare the smiling faces of Rabblers to the scowls of any other fitness group.) Charlotte & Rosemary, who run the sessions, are encouraging and playful themselves and never want anyone to have a bad time; there are no sore losers in Rabble! It's just the right amount of competitive for those who can't dedicate so much time and energy to playing an amateur sport, and while you'll be missed if you don't show up, the team won't lose because you're not there as teams are semi-randomly assigned at the start of each session. The question remains: do you run faster when you're chasing or being chased?? Either way, I've definitely improved my fitness over the past year with this gang and had a blast to boot. All sessions end with a trip to the pub for drinks (weeknights) or lunch (weekends). It's a great crowd!
Rabble makes me sad that I don't live in London right now…read more Rabble is absolutely great, the team are fantastic, and it's just so easy to meet people and enjoy exercise. There are a lot of throwbacks to your time on the playground, and it actually is super fun- when I first went it wasn't when I was converted to gym-bunniness either. It's outdoors, so it's as fresh as you can get for London, and gosh does it make you competitive! I don't know if it's because it's team games where you're against others, or because you refuse to be out of breath and lose at a game in your twenties that you won so much in first school, but it works! Make sure you take enough water, especially if it's hot.

The amount of sauce was amazing as it wasn't too much but was enough to taste good. The chicken was very tender and nice as-well. I had a salad card too which lets you have a custom salad , it was exquisite. My only problem was that it was quite large for a side salad however it wasn't too bad of a problem. The service was good and the food was quite fast, the architecture of the building is very modern and overall fits the theme and atmosphere of the restaurant. For £16 it was very worth it and I recommend coming here with friends for events. The only thing that made it 4 stars and not 5 was that there was an onion ring in my burger but I didn't order it and I didn't know it was in there. Overall, very good and I do recommend.

They have a large number of extremely well maintained grass courts and an even larger number of hard and all weather courts. The club is in the centre of Felixstowe so it is very easy to get to shops inbetween matches etc. They have a good sized car park and there is parking on the residential streets around the place too. The club hosts a number of tournaments and has a resident professional who runs coursesw for both children and adults.
