I had an extremely negative experience with Hage Fence & Repair and want to share it to help others…read moremake an informed decision. An individual identifying himself as "Jason," who stated he was associated with this company, entered a private property that was clearly marked "No Trespassing." When questioned, he claimed to be a surveyor but refused to provide any identification. In Florida, surveyors are required to carry and show proper credentials when asked. During his time on the property, a PVC pipe was damaged. When this was brought to his attention, he refused to take responsibility or make any effort to repair it and left the property. His conduct was unprofessional, disrespectful, and concerning--especially toward a homeowner who was home alone with a young infant. This experience raised serious concerns about the company's professionalism, accountability, and respect for property rights. I would strongly advise others to verify credentials and consider alternative companies before hiring Hage Fence & Repair. UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. To clarify: the individual named Jason represented himself as being associated with your company at the time of the incident. The issue described in this review pertains to his conduct based on that representation. Ok, so I have an old truck that I dearly love, but it developed a rust hole above the windshield…read morethat resulted in a leak onto the electrical systems. One quoted $7,000.00 (including paint job), but when he found out is was truly a hole, he wouldn't return my calls to set up the work. Exasperated, I did a search for welders and found Jason. He laughed when I explained the problem. Said he hears it all the time and cannot imagine why, as it's not at all difficult - at least not for Jason. Sure enough, he came to me and got right to work. The man is an artist in metal. Knocked it all out in three hours, just as he had estimated over the phone. He even gave me a spray can of very professional cold galvanizing primer ACE Hardware doesn't carry at no additional charge just to make certain the repair lasts. One man shop, run by a good man who knows what he is doing and offers very fair pricing - a real gem in today's world. I can recommend Rougarou Metal Works without reservation and as 30-year business owner myself, I know what constitutes a pro. Jason is a pro and a really good guy.
