My most recent visit was to watch my daughter's high school band perform in the school auditorium. The auditorium appeared to be older, yet it was well-maintained, very comfortable, and the band's sound carried well. The view of the stage from any seat in the auditorium was clear. The staff and student volunteers were amazing, friendly, and welcoming. Parking is available in any one of the multiple parking lots adjacent to the auditorium.

Valencia consistently has the highest number of IB graduates and about 90+% of students pass their AP exams. We've met some of the most caring and knowledgeable teachers and counselors. VHS offers many sports, clubs, band and creative programs for students to join and make friends. Valencia offers many opportunities for growth for my children. We are thankful for the many wonderful programs and people we've met. There is no one perfect high school out there. Valencia represents real-world diversity, rigor and opportunities to help our children prepare for their college, careers, and life. I'd highly recommend VHS to any student who is ready to take on new experiences, and be academically challenged. We live in a district with 4 excellent high schools. If you'd like to learn more about the academies offered at each HS, check out the Showcases or call the school and ask for a personal tour. Best of luck!

Our experience was that if you try to express your feedbacks to improve school administrations and community relationship, it is his call. He rarely listened and became defensive and bossy. A good principal serves the community, welcome parents' suggestions and have good communication skills. When he has different opinions with you, you see an attitude instantly. Other than that, the teachers we have been experiencing are great! That is why I gave this school a 3 star.

Would not let me do the half star. It needs this. PARENTS, LISTEN TO ME. Send your child anywhere…read morebut here. Honestly, my experience at Kraemer Middle School was extremely disappointing and frustrating. There were far too many moments where I felt ignored, unheard, or like basic things were made unnecessarily difficult. What should have been a normal middle school experience often felt like a constant test of patience, and instead of looking forward to school, there were times (pretty much always) when I was simply looking forward to getting away from it. Communication could be incredibly frustrating, and getting clear answers or having concerns addressed sometimes felt like an impossible task. It often seemed like students and families were expected to figure things out themselves, even when the situation clearly called for better communication and support. On top of that, some experiences left me feeling like student concerns weren't taken as seriously as they should have been, which only made the frustration worse. A school should make students feel supported, respected, and comfortable asking for help--not make them feel like speaking up is pointless. The whole place feels less like a supportive school and more like a place where you just have to put up with the problems and hope the day goes by quickly. I genuinely hope the school takes criticism seriously and makes meaningful improvements to communication, organization, responsiveness, and the overall student experience. There is a LOT of room for improvement, and based on my experience, I could never recommend this school to someone else, out of a small shred of respect for my fellow man. Overall, one of the most frustrating school experiences I've had, and definitely not something I would be eager to repeat. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. Worst years of my life. And I can confirm from other reviews: still doesn't care about bullying. Still so much racism. And not one single person here cares! They've done a lot to try to clean up their image ("Greatest Middle School on Earth") but bullying and racism are rampant. I am using an alias here, but I was repeatedly beaten and abused. They did not CARE. No one here cares. This sorry excuse for a school is stinking, festering wound, a oozing pimple, on the face of the American educational system. Try Tuffree. There have been a lot of cover ups that I witnessed. "this was a very racist and bullying school", "The students back 14-15 school year, ridiculous, mean, and judgmental. I was treated differently because they claim that they're previous generation of family came here & I didn't belong here". The teachers are like this too. PLEASE! Listen. This is happening right now. Avoid it at all costs. HALF STAR

I want to focus my review on the Expanded Learning Program that provides after school care for my children. My family can go on and on about how exceptionally wonderful this program is! Mrs. Behan is the ABSOLUTE BEST and works so hard every day to ensure our children are not only supported, but are cared for and loved. When we first joined the program years ago, the idea of leaving my kids in someone else's care was unsettling. My worries quickly dissolved and it's to the point where my kids don't want to leave when I pick them up. They absolutely adore Mrs. Behan and enjoy all the amazing activities and opportunities the program offers. They have gotten to participate in drama club, basketball club, Lego club, and yoga just to name a few. The environment is welcoming and the kids are so well behaved and play well together. This could not happen without great leadership. I feel so lucky to have my children a part of this program and do not take it for granted. We truly appreciate all that Mrs. Behan and the staff at Expanded Learning pour into the program to ensure our kids are supported and loved.

I want to start out by saying that this review is for The Expanded Learning Before And After School…read moreCare Program they have at Morse Elementary School. NOT Morse Elementary School itself! If I could give EXPANDED LEARNING ZERO stars I would! I didn't want to give a low score to Morse because it's NOT their fault! The Lead teacher Stacy Behan and her Assistant Sean Davidson treated my daughter like GARBAGE! They should be ashamed of themselves! EXTREMELY unprofessional! They need to be more educated on what they CAN and can NOT say to children and that ALL children within their care should be treated EQUALLY!! You're NOT being paid to BULLY my daughter! You're there to keep her safe until I pick her up! I reached out to Asst. Director's Paula Sitar and Brenda Hohnstein with absolutely NO RESPONSE Not even a generic e-mail saying " Thank you for bringing this to our attention ." NOTHING from either one! I reached out to Director Dr. George Lopez earlier in the year to make a suggestion about something and NO RESPONSE! ZERO! It's clear to me and has been PROVEN to me that as a parent if you have ANY issues, have an idea or simply want to be heard, it's NOT going to happen with the higher ups at The Expanded Learning Program of PYLUSD!!!! They all get paid regardless, so what do they care? P.S. To my teachers Miss Sara and Miss Corey you girls are FABULOUS!!!! Thank you ladies for treating my kiddo with LOTS of LOVE and RESPECT and taking the time to laugh with her and when she gave you a hard time you just went with it!!! HaHa! You ARE APPRECIATED!!!
