She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional during our encounter, and then after she made her oh-so-cool-I'm-better-than-you exit, complete with a slammed door that would rival my 12-year old's efforts, I could hear her talking about me negatively in the hallway to her coworkers. The main heading was "I can't.. I can't with her..." followed by how I would not cooperate with her; trying to make me understand that I have hypertension...yep I'm aware of that, my friend. I have a PCP in Ohio helping me manage my hypertension. I'm not here for that, but all my (not) thanks for telling your whole staff all of that. I am a caregiver myself in Ohio, so I am not stupid...this is a HIPPA violation, which is illegal. I wish I had gotten her name so I could report her, because I would immediately. (Also, um, if you "can't" with someone who just needs FMLA forms signed, then what CAN you do??? Did you actually get educated??). I am not a vindictive person by nature, but this nurse treated me so horribly while I was just trying to get FMLA forms signed to care for my sick (dying) dad. Who actually acts like that towards a person, in such a situation, as a caregiver???? If others have had this experience with this place, I'd love to hear about it, because I want this awful person reported (my mom after the fact gave me some background outlining her own experiences with probably this same cow) and apparently, this nurse just sucks at being a human, let alone a nurse. She is the worst person I have encountered in a long time, and that's saying a lot. Walker Family Care should be ashamed of her presence in their facility. I hope others come forward as well after seeing this review. I'm calling the office regardless to pursue next steps regarding her HIPPA violation if nothing else. On multiple occasions I've felt this practice had let me down. While living in Fayetteville, I'd go…read morethere with multiple issues I'd like to talk to Dr sturcken about and I'd be told I'd need to schedule another apt to discuss more than one issue at a time. This was really disheartening. On another occasion I visited the office for an apt and needed blood work. After the visit with Dr Sturcken, I was talking with the lady taking blood and mentioned an issue I thought I may have and asked if they were taking blood for my thyroid as well. She said no but she could easily add it. Dr. Sturcken literally got frustrated and stated, "I already put your charts away," and was upset that she now needed to get them back out and add that. The latest upset is due to me moving out of state. A prescription I have is ending soon and I don't have a dr apt here for three months. Mind you, it took me a year to find a new dr, so I understand the inability to see me to renew more prescriptions. I was just hopeful she could refill it for a couple more months. She said no, so I asked if I should cut them in half to hold me over and she said she can't offer advice on that. I guess just overall, I've had multiple negative experiences with Dr. Sturcken.

Old building. New provider. Took my 75 yo father here about…read morea week ago. Told me ahead of time they were still waiting to be put on our insurance co's provider list, but said we could self-pay. Thirty minutes and $80'ish later, we were walking back out the door after having seen the provider. Didn't feel rushed through like cattle and Dad was feeling much better the following day due to the RX provided. Only issue was one of the RX given the ins didn't want to cover. I prob could have called the office back and asked for an alternative, but instead just got a partial fill. So 4.5 stars, and that rounds to 5. Just please, for the love of all, keep enough providers and staff on hand to ensure your wait time stays reasonable. Area doesn't need another shoddy and understaffed urgent care!

I wasn't sure if she was calling out for me to come back but she stood behind the door and called my name mispronounced it and gave me hella attitude when I came up asking if it was me or not her response was "your the only one sitting out there" but she never came around the corner or nothing. She put up an argument and didn't apologize. It wasn't the point of mispronouncing the name it was the way she went about it, very unprofessional. My first visit to this Primary Care office and possibly the last. The office was nice, the front…read morestaff very friendly. But as a new patient, the provider encounter was lacking. I was not given a chance to voice concerns or ask questions at the end of the visit. There was no clarifying questions asked about my family or personal health history. For example, I listed insomnia as a diagnosis. I am not taking any medication for it. No questions about how I am sleeping. I put down I had a pulmonary embolism 1.5 years ago with a positive family history, but no questions about why I am not taking a blood thinner. I have a recurring health issue, but no questions about that. No request to have my medical records sent. Did not ask if I needed refills (I didn't). This was a visit where information gathering was expected and important for upcoming care. I feel that opportunity was wasted. I was disappointed that this was a no go for me. I have had excellent providers the past 25 years plus, so maybe my expectations were unrealistic.
