I am also a patient of John's Hopkins in Maryland. I had a monoallelic mutation of the TRPV4 gene, which is a rare motor neuron condition that umbrellas ALS. It took a minute to get where I am now. I started in September or October of 2025. I've had over 17 surgeries and procedures under general anesthesia. I'm fused from c3 to c7 (six surgeries), Aortic heart valve replacement, gall bladder removed, appendix gone, TOS surgery, Carpal tunnel and elbow surgery, heart biopsy to test for Amyloidosis. I was tired especially in the morning. My hair was thinning! I have been dealing with a blood disorder called myeloproliferative which is a high platelet counts.
