Shopped around a bit, wanted to the right vibe, the main decision maker is my dog, so I defer to him. =) Was working my way down the list of dog-friendly spots in the South Bay and really like Satellite's offering. It was one of the more expensive ones but I really liked the summer promo. Satellite favors very walkable locations integrated with food and markets. I didn't realize they had a Pruneyard location, I didn't even realize there was a second floor at all in the center structures. The Sunnyvale spot was okay. A lil too busy and frantic for my tastes. Some of the folks there...should not be there--I'll leave it at that. They were not good coworking space neighbors. Got to Campbell. Day 1, worked a few hours, realized it was awesome and signed on the spot to grab one of the last available spaces. What was the clincher? Just quiet, professional neighbors. BEAUTIFUL central skylight of endless natural light--it's so beautiful. Natural light is far superior to fluorescence, your brain will thank you. Also, Trader Joe's downstairs. Bruh, 'nuff said. Maybe I'm getting old (OH NO, I'm an adult...new sponges and Trader Joe's commute times matter..). Samatha, the manager was really accommodating and took care of us. Wifi, printing, access--all super smooth. The office coffee is excellent, Philz. Someone's keeps disappearing my sparkling sodas but eh, can't win them all. Men's bathroom is in another section of the building, this could be better -- not the greatest, the door jams too. Easy fix, ridiculous they let it just carry on like that. I feel like I've gone back in time three decades cause that bathroom is stuck there. There's also a dope podcast room with a green screen with excellent acoustic sound isolation (and that's coming from a sound engineer and producer). What else? It's just a happy vibe. It feels like stepping back into time in SF Bay Area to happier pre-Covid days. Happy dogs, sunshine, kids running around, outdoor dining, old couples watching the world go by, hot babes coming out of yoga and pilates, ice cream scoops on waffle cones and my poodle hyperventilating like a psycho to say hi to the other dogs. I almost don't want to write this. This quiet oasis needs to stay quiet!

From the moment we walked in, her warm, genuine friendliness stood out. She made us feel welcome right away, answered every question patiently, and went out of her way to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. It's clear she genuinely cares about the people who work here, not just about filling desks. That combination of professionalism and real kindness is what sealed the deal for us. We're glad we chose Campbell, and a big part of that is thanks to Samantha. The office space is very inviting and Samantha does a great job of making sure that it is pristine. Highly recommend both the space and the team here -- especially if you get to work with Samantha.

While the space is not that large has comfortable working areas that are bright and welcoming. Ann also makes the space welcoming by being approachable and by sharing special treats. I do wish there were more soft areas ie couches for lounging however the out door patio sort of makes up for that. I loved stepping outside eating my lunch on the patio and overlooking the lively downtown.

The kitchen is equipped with some basics, plates, mugs, glasses, utensils and coffee w/creamers. No tea for some reason. I didn't get a good feel for the place. It was unclear who actually works for the space. The girl working here eventually greeted me, though she seemed far more interested in texting, chatting and watching videos and was annoyed with my rude interruption. When I asked for the rates, she just pointed at a piece of paper, couldn't be bothered to actually have a conversation with me. She didn't tell me anything about the space, just told me to grab any desk that's not reserved. Shortly before 3pm, a sign went up on doors stating that they will be locked until 9am Monday (was here on a Friday). When a guy got locked out and was let back in, the members rolled their eyes and said that "All doors get locked when she leaves".

Pre-COVID, I would avoid a one-hour long commute to work on occasion as my employer partnered with Star Space as a remote working location for their employees. There are numerous working environments (some formal, some informal, and also includes an outdoor patio that has WiFi connectivity) that are all set up with external monitors and peripherals. The printing is fast and there are conference rooms that can be reserved in advance for a small fee. There are sometimes community events meant to bring together those using the co-working space to get to know each other and exchange ideas. Post-COVID, they have aligned with proper precautions for the county and I feel completely safe working from there. There is a key fob that you can use during and after-hours, truly making this workplace accessible 24/7. Their kitchen is also fantastic. It is usually stocked with many single-serve type items (think cheese, hummus, pickle pouches, fruits, trail-mix type snacks, and beverages galore). Microwave, kitchen, and non-stop coffee. (There is oddly a premium coffee machine up front that I have NEVER seen been used as they charge a fee. This seems like it is a waste and should just be made available for users to make their own coffee.). Lunch is usually via a group DoorDash, but I find it easier and cheaper to often order separately and have it delivered to the the front door. All-in-all, Star Space is a wonderful co-working space that allows me to work outside the distracting environment in my own home, but not having to commute to my regular workplace or to another distracting environment like the library or coffee shops. There's snacks, coffee, lockers, and private phone booths. I had a doctor's appointment nearby and had back-to-back meetings before and after the appointment, and this turned out to be perfect. It is also located next to a Panera Bread, which makes it easy if you need to grab a quick lunch. Parking is plentiful and a breeze. I had to dock a star though, because the website is incredibly confusing and difficult to use. At least for me, I wasn't sure if I needed to book a desk, or what. I tried calling for clarification several times, and it didn't seem like anyone picked up. I had to go to OfficeMax and ask for help, which seems pretty inefficient. If you're new to co-working, the experience didn't feel very intuitive. Otherwise, once I got settled in, things were great. Internet was fast and reliable. I ran into an old co-worker and he said that he's really enjoyed working here.

Daniel and Marcela take great care of us. They have small holiday themed social events and/or free food for tenants/clients sometimes. I love the lounge areas on the 4th and 5th floor. Also the gym on the second floor. Janitorial workers such as Rosa are on top of everything and very nice.
