I have gone to see this person twice now to be tapered off of a medication THAT IS NOT working and she told me that I was expecting too much from a medication and that I needed to find other ways to make myself feel better. Geez, I didn't know I could just make SI go away on my own. Not to mention this person told me that a diagnosis that an ACTUAL PSYCHIATRIST gave me years ago was wrong but told me I have something completely different that even the therapist thinks the APN is wrong. They were unable to find the exact illness but due to the foreign state and severity, I was given a note to stay at home until a set date. Chenal Therapy in their greatness deemed that a late cancellation fee (26 hour notice) was in order and that any waiver was denied. This is a scummy practice which prioritizes wealth over patient wellbeing. I do not blame the psychologist but the billing and facility management is in absolute disarray. Choose somewhere else if you prioritize your mental health. A formal complaint has been filed with the state board regarding the comments listed and personal complaints on ethics.
