Dear pizza lover: Let me inform you of what an absolute delicious delight the 5 cheese pizza I enjoyed this evening! I am an huge fan of "white" pizzas. Because my body does not do actual milk very well I tend to stay towards more water based (not sure if that's what it's called) cheeses such as fresh mozzarella and goat cheese, etc. this 5 cheese small pan pizza with garlic, basil light on tomato and spinach no parmesan. Fantastic find! Please be sure, if you're a true lover of pizza - you have got to try this spectacular find - they have quite an array of items on their menu and I would hope that their pizza is not the ONLY exceptional food they offer. Here is a 4 star review for Minerva Pizza in Wareham, MA. I stopped in for a grinder and ordered the loaded Italian. It was fantastic. The sandwich was full of fresh cold cuts, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomato. The bread was excellent. It hit the spot perfectly. The pizza looked great coming out of the oven. There is some indoor seating and convenient street parking. The place has a welcoming feel. Based on the name it might have Greek roots. Service was warm, friendly, and quick. I finally found a place that makes the best pizza around! It's always made just the way I like it. My husband and I also love their wings. Always cooked just right! They are super fast in delivering, have never waited more that 20 minutes even on a weekend evening. I have been inside to eat, and it is so clean! It's very cozy, and I like sitting by the window. The delivery men are so kind, especially James. And every time I call the folks who answer are very kind. When I went in to inquire about something I met Jim and he is a great guy, Very pleasant. I ordered through the store, went home, saw that my order was wrong, so I went back. Got up to the front desk and told them what happened. Owner (Who Im assuming is so) gives me an attitude and tells me that what they put on it is what I placed. I in fact did not ask for anything on mine, their workers just messed it up. I did end up getting a remake for free, but there was so much attitude and he was extremely passive aggressive toward me and the employees. Belittling them right in front of me! Got an Italian sub and opened it and found bologna and a few cheap pieces of salami. No other meat. I have never had an Italian sub ever with bologna on it. The usual Italian is ham, salami, pepperoni and (Genoa depending on the place) This one just had bologna and a few peices of salami. I can't eat bologna so I called and asked the guy how they make there Italian subs he handed the phone to another guy who was so ignorant and rude saying that's how he makes them and to look at the website. Which I did and no where on there (that I can see) tells you how they make there Italian subs but they do have a picture on there website which shows ham , salami and pepperoni in the picture. So I assumed like most places that's how they make it! Well I guess not there absolutely disgusting don't waste your money. This place use to be so good. They had the best mozzarella sticks (which they don't have anymore) and subs. Now it's absolutely disgusting! I do not know what happened but after speaking with who I'm assuming to be the owner is there absolutely ignorant and so rude to their customers. Got slices. Food was good but we had to listen to the manager berate and yell at the young girl running the register. After that he continued to bitch to no one while making a sub. A woman at the register told him he was making the diners uncomfortable and he told her that the girl deserved to be called out in front of people for whatever she did. No, she did not... he kept it up and I yelled shut up already from our table. He did not shut up. Upon leaving I told him although their pizza was good, we shouldn't have had to listen him yell at the employees and it ruined our lunch. I said we won't be back. He said good, don't some back. DO NOT GO HERE FOR FOOD OR WORK!!! New owner is a complete psychopath a$$hole. Embarrassingly and very awkwardly screams at and belittles his employees and customers in front of others all the time. Place is gross inside yet the owner still doesn't like when you use the public bathroom. The phone is terrible but he insists it's everyone else's problem and is rude about it. The food is disgusting especially the salads which seem prepackaged Cumberland farms salads. Wareham deserves a lot better than this! I just feel really bad for the workers. Go to Santoro's or Wareham House of Pizza, those 2 are 10000000% better pizza/sub/salad shops and owners. read more

The person answering the phone was oviously new and had trouble understanding my order and I couldnt understand him, so I didnt have high hopes that my order would be correct. My order was ready in the time they had stated, but it was completely wrong. I had ordered a chicken parm sandwich and a steak and cheese with peppers, onions and mushroom. They gave me a chicken parm with peppers onions and mushroom(YUCK) No steak and cheese. So when I went to pay, I said that this isnt right, and repeated what I ordered, the guy , who I assume was the manager,threw the sub on the counter and said this is what the women(me) who called it in ordered and that it was made to order! I said that was not what I ordered, he said fine, we will remake it! then a young girl came over, she was nice and pleasant and apolygized and retook the order! So as I sat waiting for my order , which they did in a timely manner, I watched 3 other people struggle with order errors. Then when my order was ready the manager guy said your orders ready and "sorry" with an attitude, so I said , you know I think there was a misunderstanding on the phone, He just said Yeah! he's new! I was going to say more but honestly it really wasnt worth my time I get it ! They seemed busy and they had a new employee with language barrier on the phone , but the rudeness was uncalled for. They have consistently messed up my orders for years. In all fairness the calzones are good BUT that's if they make it properly meaning the ingredients you asked for. They never send sauce, or they send wrong sauce. If you order the strawberry salad they either don't put the strawberries or they don't put the cheese or you don't get the raspberry vinaigrette that's supposed to come with it. Sometimes they'll send any dressing they grab instead of the vinaigrette. Order gingerale you get sprite, order Dr pepper you get root beer. So when you call to complain they say we'll fix it. They an hour and a half later the delivery guy shows up treating you like garbage for having to come back. Mind you in the case of the calzones they're ice cold by time you get your sauce. They literally NEVER toast your sub, every sub I order I get toasted. They don't even bother. The only reason I've continued to go there is for my girlfriend who loves their meatless sub. I am done, they will take your money mess up your food and then treat you like you've done something wrong. They love putting the old woman on the phone who promises a credit or refund and you never get it. They are literally thiefs. read more

I would put zero stars if I could. So I went into Minervas today to grab a slice on my walk at 8 o'clock at night and I walk in and there's a child sitting on the chair in front of the door with an apron on. So I guess he works there, I said how much for your pepperoni slice and the guy at the counter said 4.70 something so I said oh how much for a cheese slice and he said 4.01. I said fine I'll take a cheese slice, he goes over to the counter and picks up a cheese slice up off of the counter and it's cold and there's no heat lamp or anything. So he put my pizza in a toaster oven and hands it back to me after a minute and it's still cold. I start walking down the street with my cheese slice and I take a bite out of it. It's freezing cold. The crust is hard as a rock and then we get back to the house and I put some pepperonis on that thing and put it in the microwave. When it comes out of the microwave, the crust is still hard as a rock and inedible and I can't even eat my pizza in peace and I paid almost 5 dollars for this piece of pizza. Don't go here if you value your money or your life. Flies. There's flies all over the pizza all around. It could get on the pizza because they just leave it out. No heat lamp or anything it probably was made this morning. They barely warm it, so how could they get rid of the bacteria, they toss it in for the bare minimum amount of time. Ordered a calzone, paid, sat down, was polite and ate my food asked to use the restroom. Used the restroom like a normal person didn't make a mess and the counter lady decided to chastise me for having to use the restroom. This old Karen came over to my table and was incredibly rude to me and my mother about the fact that I needed to use their bathroom. Would never go back to this establishment. Also the out of order sign on the bathroom isn't real they just don't want you to use the restroom apparently. Also food was incredibly over priced for the mediocrity they serve. read more

So I was in there for about 2-3 minutes and she started yelling about whats taking so long in there??!! I told her I was going number. Jesus Christ!!! Must've called about 10 times and they just let it ring. It's not busy, just letting it ring ignoring their paying customers for hours. We ignored the spotty reviews and tried Minerva's anyway, based on their menu, and their cute website which plays a peppy Italian tune. Thank goodness we did - our dinner was perfect!! The atmosphere was rustic-chic, lots of windows and raw wood. Nothing fancy .. nice AND comfy. We wanted to split a greek salad with grilled chicken, and the chicken was obviously freshly grilled and was plentiful, as was the feta. Clearly top quality ingredients and care in preparation. We would have liked more whole pepperoncini and less of the sliced - but this is a minor quibble. Extra greek dressing was given for the asking. Our other target dish was a large "NY Style" pepperoni pizza, and Minerva's was pretty darn close!! Actually - this pizza was quite delicious. The sauce was zesty, they did not skimp on the excellent cheese, it had just the right amount of oil. We appreciated the parm & garlic powder shakers available on the counter as well. Minerva's nailed these two dishes. And the quantity of food was sufficient for three people. We'll be back for more! Again and again! read more

I order from Minerva about 2 to 3 time's or it could be more over the six years living in Wareham, MA. The one thing going against Minerva Pizzeria is there high prices, like there pasta dinner's they give you less pasta but there Price's are high. But there Pizza slices are really good and they are at a reasonable Price like the Cheese or the one topping and they give you a reasonable large slice of pizza. Like my last time i ordered from Minerva i ordered 3 slices of sausage pizza and when it came i was surprise to find extra slices of pizza and I like that very much. So Minerva Thankyou very much I never try a whole pizza but judging by the slices I have eaten in my opinion they must be great and reading some of the combo pizza's I have to agree .
