Goloritze was WAY overcrowded with people on the beach and boats in the water. Made it impossible to relax and have a good day there without feeling like people were breathing down your neck everywhere you turn. Would probably pass next time I go back to Sardegna.

My husband did some research and found this small, yet really beautiful beach just a few miles from Porto Cervo Marina, where we are staying. There are only about 3 parking spaces by the entrance​ and just a few more down the road. It's definitely not a huge populated beach​​, and that's precisely the reason why I absolutely loved it! Unlike beaches in the U.S., the beaches here tend to be more quiet​ and sedate. No frisbee throwing and volleyball with dogs running off-leash​. Just soft plushy white sand and dreamy Mediterranean blue waters in quiet surroundings. Aaaahh! ​

This is a solid beach that we came to straight from the airport on our way to Orosei. It is fine…read morewhite sand and clear blue water. I was expecting a little clearer than it was based on glowing tripadvisor reviews, but we came in the busiest time of year (mid-August), so that may have been partly why. 10 Euros to park for the day, or 5 Euros of half day (10:30 - 4). Cash only! Bathrooms are portapotties with no sink. There is one bar/cafe and the local Sardinian beer is 3 Euros a bottle, so plan ahead and bring your own ;). Not much else here! For being down a long winding dirt road, I thought there might be fewer people than there were - it was pretty concentrated with people, though again this is probably unavoidable in August at any beach in sardignia.

This beach is quite a trek but it is all worth it. You will have to work for the view by walking,…read moreclimbing, and hiking. All very manageable as I was able to do it in sandals and a dress. Once you reach downhill you will be rewarded with the most spectacular view. The waters here are tranquil and clear and white sands complete the perfect picture. The surrounding landscape is just as amazing. This spot is a must see.
