As soon as you walk into this convenience store you smell pleasant aroma from the food in the back. The lamb here is fantastic. I got the gyro platter for 7.59 and only finished all my food because it's that good. The lamb melts in your mouth. My man Ben gave me a little piece of lamb to sample before my meal, and stated better than filet mignon right?! And I had to just nod my head and smile. The side salad, cucumber white sauce, and hummus the meal comes with are all on point. I'm so satisfied, and thankful it didn't break the bank, which is rare nowadays. Friendly service, fantastic food, I'll back here everyday till my class is done here at southeastern. Another Hammond gem!

In an experience that mimics my previous review, but this time with the eye rolling Dymond S. who would not utter a word to me despite my attempt at pleasantries - yet she would stop the transaction to say hello and see how someone (who was obviously a friend) was doing whilst the friend was walking out the door. Then immediately back to ignoring me. She then proceeded to throw my Veuve Clicquot into the same bag as the Tiger Sauce - with nothing but a small paper bag to contain the shards should they have busted against one another. And then without a word or even eye contact, held my receipt out for me to take. What is wrong with this location that their cashiers can't just be decent human beings and employ basic kindness to customers? We're not asking for a parade or to be fawned over, a simple response to a kind hello would suffice. But you choose to be nasty, without provocation, and I just cannot understand why.

Succulent and tasty, just as it should be, with the glaze adding just the right zesty edge. The house Pinot Grigio was excellent with the fish. I also had a very good Caesar salad that complimented the fish and the broccoli side. In this case, the broccoli was somewhat tough with a slightly overpowering parmesan covering. Perhaps a little more butter and a little less cheese would be better? On the whole, dinner was great and we highly recommend DiMartino's for both lunch and dinner.
