Attempted to make a dental appointment via phone. Spoke with Katie who was extremely rude, curt and impolite. She asked for my full SSN to look up my dental coverage. I explained I wasnt comfortable providing that over the phone. She claimed that was the only way to look up my coverage. She then hung up on me. This isn't true. My coverage can be looked up by calling the insurance company providing my full name, DOB, name of employer and member ID or policy number. read more

I recently went to this dentist due to my husband recommending this place. For a few years I ignored this problem I had due to money. I did get cleanings done, but that was about it. Few years ago, a dentist in Orange, CA told me I needed some fillings replaced and a new crown due to my gums receding and creating a gap. It was irritating because every time I ate meat it would get stuck and make my gums sore and bleed. I was quoted for $1200. Who has that kind of money after Covid and economy tanking? After my husband recommended this place I had a full work up done (X-rays, 3d imaging, and a gum checkup) all done by a dental hygienist, Hannah and a registered dental assistant Maddie. Hannah was very quick and efficient. Very thankful due to my sensitive gums. Dr. Shiva was the dentist who checked all my x rays and I was very impressed by her. She told me that all the fillings did not need to be replaced and that even if the crown was done, she cannot guarantee food not getting trapped inside. Even more impressive was the price. Let's just say I was able to afford it and booked an appointment for my crown replacement right away. It took two days for my new crown replacement due to the pulling of the old one and creating new one with mold. I also had to wait for another one to arrive. Both Maddie and Dr. Shiva as a team worked well together and I was able to fall asleep during my procedure for the first part. Dr. Shiva also informed me that my old crown was not matching my teeth color so she let me pick a new one that better suited my mouth. Appreciated the details she put into my teeth. Also, this was the first dentist that actually had me try out my new crown with delicious chips. Can't say a dentist ever fed me before but, just the fact that she wanted me to try it there and then, was thumbs up in my book. Front desk was super friendly & can't wait to try out the full cleaning :) Thank you so much Mint Dental for taking care of my problem with such diligence. read more

I can't praise this place enough! They always take wonderful care of me and my child by going above and beyond. They always make sure we're comfortable and happy with our experiences. I don't have dental insurance at the moment, and they offer their own - in office - insurance plan that benefits the entire family. A huge plus! The staff is super friendly and they remember us, it's the little things! I'm very happy we found them! I have an unlucky mouth and had 3 cavities taken out today, and the entire time they were checking in, were kind and professional, and it made the whole experience really enjoyable! I can't rate the dental experience as I wasn't able to get to that point... but based on their front desk, I recommend a hard pass. I reached out to this dentistry multiple times (phone and email) and was told someone would follow up with me. Normally office assistants would immediately check insurance and schedule appointments, but for some reason this office told me that they would need to follow up. The front desk just seemed too impatient to do their job or had other priorities. After numerous attempts and waiting for two weeks, I've moved on. Yelp isn't doing a good job on vetting reviews, especially in areas such as Dental services. It is extremely obvious that the owner is creating false reviews to increase the rating. I didn't realize it until now but there was a recent streak of poor reviews, but it followed up with a streak of 5 star reviews from accounts with extremely limited reviews and almost no network. The review justifying the $75 appointment cancellation is especially suspect and seems like a friend helping out. Some of these fake reviews really should be removed by Yelp to avoid wasting time but I guess they have to make money somehow. So I recommend reading through bad reviews or just deal with a bad experience yourself to confirm. read more

I was referred here by a co worker of mine and I am glad she told me to come here for my general dentist needs. This office has the best music and every equipment seems like state of the art! It's very clean and such a cute office. Her staff members are very sweet, outgoing and makes you feel very welcoming. But let me tell you about Dr. Nguyen! She is literally the best. She is such an honest dentist who doesn't have any intentions of taking your money. She even encouraged me to price around for Invisalign which I really appreciated her honesty. I noticed people are upset about the no show fee $75 however if you really think about it.. I think that fee is reasonable.
