The worker recommended a deep cleanse facial. She told me to come back 10 minutes later and she could do it, so I did. When I first arrived to the room where the facial was happening I tried to get under the blanket, as I was cold, and she told me not to. During the facial the worker was careless with the ways she applied products to my skin and caused me a lot of pain during the extractions, even when I told her that it hurt she continued. My skin was burning and red as a result. At the end of the facial she lazily put a cream on my face but didn't care enough to properly blend it in. I had to go to the bathroom after so that I could blend it in myself, which is when I noticed the mascara all over my eyes that she hadn't taken off at the beginning of the facial. For the 1 hour service that I paid for I believe she was in the room for half that time. She washed my face quickly at the beginning and put me under a steamer for 10 min during which she left the room. She did this once more towards the end when she put a mask on my skin after the extractions (that burned) and then left once more while it dried. For the price of the service I expected more, especially when I explained my skin concerns beforehand, highlighting the fact that my skin was extremely sensitive. There was no peaceful music playing and overall the vibe was horrible. I do not recommend, my skin is still irritated and red hours after this facial from hell and I am noticing new pimples that I did not have before. I have never not tipped on a service like this, but this time I was so sad and enraged that I paid the price and left without giving or saying more.

I mentioned that my stylist was late, and I received a "you'll have to wait another 5 minutes" from the receptionist. When I mentioned that this frustrated me, they started talking about "well if you're in a rush...we can dry cut your hair or reschedule". I did finally get an apology at least so I added another star here. But the point wasn't that I was in a rush, it's that my time wasn't being respected and no one thought to check in on being late! Usually, when the stylist will be 15 minutes late and (especially if it's a first impression), they will come up to you quickly and introduce themselves or give a simple apology. If I had received that, I wouldn't have been bothered at all. I eventually left without getting my hair cut because the whole thing felt like a total waste of my time and disorganized.

Feedback is part of running any business, and dismissing it as a reflection of someone's character rather than addressing the concern doesn't come across as professional. Taste is subjective, yes, but so is customer experience, and both deserve to be acknowledged respectfully otherwise what is the point of reviews and feedback.
