We bundled up in coats and scarves, and walked around the empty construction site at night with our iPhone flashlights 14TENN only consisted of some raw wood, a few original beams and a wonderful owner named Sean, who had no staff hired in Nashville yet. But we knew we HAD to get married there. We could see their vision and it matched ours. BEST DECISION EVER. I mean look at this place. And their customer service.. Over the top!! I could go on for days. Just know, the insanely beautiful space is just the icing on the cake. It's the people there that make this place what it is. Which leads me to our wedding coordinator Kaitlynn Montgomery. An angel in human form. This girl, y'all. I messaged her at least once a week with another ridiculous idea. And she encouraged me on every single one of them. Anyone who knows me knows how annoyingly Type A I am and how I prefer to do things myself and plan every detail to nauseam. Kaitlynn took SO much off my plate. If I asked her about something or suggested something, she had already taken care of it 3 days prior. She was always 5 steps ahead of me at all times. She single handily took my stress level down 1,000 notches on a daily basis. Every single last detail or idea that we came up with for this wedding would absolutely have never been possible without Kaitlynn. She brought it all to life. And Ellyse.. Her and Kaitlynn worked their butts off together on our wedding day and it was perfect. Every time I saw Ellyse that day, she was smiling ear to ear and it immediately put my nerves at ease. These two girls are just the absolute sweetest and SO freaking good at their jobs. Now, one of the most important guy of the night... Our alcohol and bar concierge, Hunter!! I remember calling him one day thinking, he is going to kill me and I'm about to make him hate his job I was like, So I was thinking about cocktail hour and how it would be cool to serve hand-crafted blueberry mojitos named after our dog in 150 coconut cups with stir sticks that have our dog's face on them. Oh and I want them all displayed on shelves with signs and the whole works. He was like, hell yeah, you got it. Not only that, he insisted on pulling out all the tricks. Infusing his own simple syrup with mint and having us over TWICE to taste the recipe and make sure it was perfect. He loves his job and it shows. He took full ownership of the bar and making sure we didn't even have to think about it. THANK YOU HUNTER!!! In summary,14TENN was an absolute dream come true and we cannot recommend them enough. As a more personal venue, our guests felt at ease the whole time and it matched the less-formal, comfortable vibe we were going for. The venue owner Trish has a great attention to detail and will work alongside you to make sure everything is taken care of, and she clearly takes pride in pulling off great events. First of all, the parking is across the street and the signs to indicate this are nowhere near the entrance to the venue. There are no signs or markers to indicate that you are in the right place until you are at the door of the venue which is at the end of an alleyway and down a flight of stairs. Thankfully staff text this information just a few minutes before the appointment began. There was no rhyme or reason as parties moved from set up to set up which meant that most parties lost time waiting to access certain set ups. The venue was very dirty, like it hadn't been dusted or cleaned since before the pandemic. The furniture was worn out and soiled, prop balls were rolling around on the floor, and there were cords everywhere which of course presents a safety hazard even though the extra lights are necessary for good photos. There was a total of 17 people in the space while I was there, and we all shared one unisex filthy restroom with a setup in it for photos... no divider, no toilet paper, no paper towels. You pay for the space by the hour, so I felt like I had no choice but to let a stranger in the restroom with me to change outfits... while I changed as well. I pray that the ownership is more attentive to the cleanliness of the venue, considers a different, more accessible and safer space, and becomes more CDC compliant. I couldn't get a refund so I hope my pictures came out okay.

I should have done the research on my own instead of taking the planners word on it after seeing one example of her work and that is on me, but I would have never expected the outcome to be what it was. I specifically asked that the only flowers at the wedding be sunflowers. I gave her all the freedom on greenery, but as far as flowers... ONLY SUNFLOWERS. Seems like a reasonable request since it was my wedding, but I guess not. She used strawflowers for the boutonnières and the cake. I am pretty chill. This is something that could have been addressed at a later time and we could have came to a solution. Instead... she approached me at my wedding and tried to defend her decision making process. I was SHOCKED! She said that she chose to do strawflowers for the boutonnières because she felt like sunflowers would be too heavy. I explained that we had bought special pocket inserts for that exact reason. It was just so unprofessional for her to approach me during my wedding. I never got an explanation as to why there wasn't even one sunflower on the cake. The only thing that was ever done to make any attempt to make the situation right was a $300 refund (which is a joke considering the amount of money we spent on florals), but there will never be anyway to go back and fix it. My wedding pictures will always look like the groomsmen were wearing cheap weeds on their suits and the cake... oh the cake. It was just so bad. If she had any type of professional place this review would be there, but she doesn't and I wouldn't anyone to have the experience that I did.

Some of my favorite hors d'oeuvres included the candied bacon and shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the pear salad we started with. It had blue cheese and a sweet yogurt dressing. The entree was prime rib with sides of mashed potato and green beans. The prime rib and mashed potato were pretty good. The green beans were okay. Overall, the food was solid for a catered dinner. The main ballroom fits about 14 round tables of 10 with a dance floor. The bathrooms are located underneath the stairs that go up into the balcony. The balcony is big enough to fit about 10 more round tables of 10 and it has a beautiful view of the downstairs. There is also a patio on the main floor. During the winter wedding I attended, the patio was heated and provided a nice space for more room to hang out. The space at this venue is incredible and fits a large amount of people.

There is a small lot for approximatey 40 or so vehicles, and two main buildings. One with the bridal suite and restrooms, the other served as a reception hall. The wedding was held outdoors and there is a nice winding path coming from the buildings to the arbor that was set up for the ceremony. If you're looking for a nice smaller outdoor venue, you shoukd really check this place out.
