We took our children in for wellness visits, which are covered 100% by our insurance provider. The "doctor" on staff refused to honor our insurance, United Health, because he claims they are "sketchy" and charged us $100 for the visit. The "doctor" at the clinic also did not know what immunization a child entering 7th grade needed and made us look it up for him. What kind of doctor doesn't know the states immunization requirements? I am calling my bank to dispute the charges since Minute Clinic didn't submit to the insurance, my insurance has negotiated rates for items that are not fully covered. I'm also contacting corporate. The doctor cannot refuse our insurance, or simply bill us how he sees fit for services. read more

They are running practice with some imbecile nurse practitioner and it is dangerous. one of the moron does know how to treat simple UTI and refer me to emergency room. I called teledoc and was prescribed antibiotics on the same day. My parents went their for cough after an international visit, the smart np did not run any test and told it is a viral illness.Aftermath every one in our house got strep. Nurse was ZERO help. Gave me no answers to my problem, told me she couldn't "guess" and I had to go to the emergency room. I asked if it was really that serious and she told she has to tell me to go to the ER to "make sure she's covered". Yeah,went in on the 23 of October and found out I had a bad sinus infection and I told the nurse not to give me Amoxicillin,because it does not work on me. They did not listen and gave it to me anyway. I took my 10 days of it and I have got worse,I called them back and ask for a new prescription and they said I had to come back in and pay again and get no prescription. Everyone I talked to about this,they wanted to talk over me and not even listen to me now and in the 23rd. Made an appointment online because I thought I might have a bladder infection. Upon choosing the options for the reason I was needing an appointment I wasn't sure which reason to chose. Well apparently I chose the wrong one! NP Bina asked if I was there for a well check. I said no. I might have a UTI. No kidding, this woman rolled her eyes at me and said hurry along, you chose a 5 minute visit and this will take much longer. She kept mumbling things so I asked her what I did wrong. Why is she reprimanding me! It was awkward and she was the rudest "professional" I've ever encountered. Who offers 5 minute appointments anyway? My appointment was at 10:00. I was in my car pulling out of the lot at 10:20. I doubt I screwed with her lunch hour too much. read more

I've taken both my daughters here for a UTI about 6 weeks apart and was charged two different prices. We didn't have insurance at the time and the nurse charged us double what I paid the first time ($89 then $160+). The nurse wasn't friendly at first but warmed up after a few minutes. She skipped us in line when we were shopping in the store. I thought she might announce our name over the speaker but she didn't. I will reconsider coming here again because of the prices. read more

Absolutely do not waste your money!!! I sent my young adult daughter there while she was visiting, and I was at work. I knew she needed oral antibiotics for an infection on her finger, assumed it was obvious. She left with an expensive topical ointment for topical skin infections such as impetigo, which was worthless for her red swollen fluid filled finger that was causing much pain. Ended up at a specialty hand clinic the next day, as her condition had worsened, paying a specialty copay +, (after paying for Minute Clinic and worthless ointment), where her finger had to be cut open, drained, instructions to clean daily, apply a dressing and now on oral antibiotics ($). The Dr. said the ointment was useless for her condition as it was infection inside and not a skin infection. Trust me - her condition was obvious. Not sure of the credentialing of their staff or if a Dr was even present. You have been warned. read more

I went to my local CVS minute clinic because I was having symptoms of strep. Right when I got there I was greeted by Shah NP with an inpatient, rude, and annoyed attitude. She asked me for my driver's license and insurance card. I showed her a picture of my insurance card on my phone and she said that will do. When she sat me down to input my insurance information on her computer, she said "I don't see your name on the card?". I replied, "Oh yes sorry, Nicole is my nickname my real name is ___". And then she rolled her eyes and grunted out loud and shouted at me, "You've gotta be kidding me! I don't know WHY you guys keep doing that. You need to use your real name. Now I have to start ALL over because it reset the whole system with a different name. You need to stand outside so I can finish this. I have your ID and I will let you know when I'm done." Now, had I not been sick and weak, I would've just taken my ID from her hand, exchanged some nasty last words to her, left, and never came back. However, it was the weekend and my primary care giver's office was not open, and I knew I needed meds as soon as possible. So I just held my tongue and waited outside the office for her to come get me. It probably took her a total of 3 minutes to "start all over". When I came back inside, she asked her questions, did vitals, and did a strep test on me. I tested positive (I knew it) and had a 100.2 fever. and then she had the AUDACITY to tell me "you're very strong, I wouldn't be able to tell that you were sick based off what you were presenting." I told her that's understandable, but what I should've said was "Yeah, unlike you, I can hold myself together well on bad days." ANYWAYS. then I started wondering if she prioritizes her patient care based off of looks or age. Because she only started treating me like a human after she did her full assessment on me. Little did she know I was miserable the day before and got extremely fatigued when I got out of bed. When she was prescribing me the antibiotics she casually apologizes to me about her behavior earlier. She said, "Sorry, I don't mean to go off like that. You know, I've had a very rough day. I haven't even taken my break yet." This next part is addressed to Mrs. Shah shall she ever read this, which I hope she does: Ma'am. went to you because I am SICK. I did not come to listen to your excuses. As a healthcare professional, it is not only your job, but your duty to put your patients needs first. I understand everyone has "bad days", and trust me I KNOW since I'm in nursing school and I work in a hospital as a tech myself. I know in my heart that no matter how shitty my day/life is going, nothing can be worse than being sick, or even more so, hospitalized. I work long 12 hour shifts and deal with nasty patients all the time, but I have NEVER gone off on a patient/ customer for any inconvenience. ESPECIALLY something as little as that. Really... what a small, small, small thing to throw a fit about. It was very unprofessional on your end. You're SO lucky that I decided to play nice. And you're even luckier that my parents weren't there. Being nurses themselves, they would've made your day a WHOLE lot worse. I don't doubt that you're probably a great Nurse Practitioner. I just wish I caught you on a better day, but if I never get the opportunity to (which is very likely since I won't be visiting that clinic again), please take this message to heart with the next patient that walks into your clinic. read more

I came here while my mom was out of town, I have suffered with sore throats constantly through the year so this was nothing new to me, the lady got me in super fast and we started the exam. She insisted that I take a pregnancy test which didn't make sense, but its whatever. She tested me for mono, and strep, both came back negative. We ended the exam, and she gave me a Z pack and Steroids and sent me on my way, but she did NOT tell me that $115 was going to be taken from my account, she never once informed of this and now I'm mad. I just put all the money I've been saving for college into my bank account and I go back into my account and they just posted it 3 weeks later. Im pissed because she never once told me how much my doctors visit was going to be nor that I had to pay anything because my medical insurance is really good, most doctors visits for me are free. I feel like the least she could've done is inform me of the transaction that was going to be placed on my card, and another thing is, she didn't even tell me what was wrong with me, instead she was too worried about on her survey that she wanted "all 10's on". I had 3 appointments for my children and I to get flu shots (5:10, 5:20 & 5:30). I showed up on time and waited in my car until they called me per instructions. I get a call at 5:06 to come inside. A woman in front of me at the Minute Clinic says her kids had shots at 5:40. The woman gives her a clipboard to fill out paperwork. I go up and tell her my name and she tells me she is busy so I will have to wait. I tell her you just called me, she says yes but I am now busy and she needs 10 minutes. I told her I had my appointments and have someplace else to be. She tells me 10 minutes. I get a call at 5:22 to go back inside. I told her how upset I was and she said the other woman was late. I told her that she lied to me, I heard the woman say 5:40 and to her point if she was late then their instructions said they will go to the next person. She then said I will do the paperwork for you, normally you go to a kiosk. Wow, thanks (sarcasm). She then told me she should have had the other woman wait. I was pissed because she lied. If she told me, this woman had 2 other kids to get shots too, do you mind waiting, I would have taken it better then being lied to. I was never asked, instead treated poorly by being lied to. I also don't understand why have a sign up for a particular time if you are just going to take others before you. Overall I was lied to and I will not use this store or Minute Clinic ever again. Fantastic service! I had been suffering a sinus infection for two weeks - (a few days before, I went into a PrimaCare clinic & they wanted a $100 co-pay so I left) Markita saw me within 18 minutes of my arrival. She was friendly, personable & extremely professional. She did a thorough examination, prescribed me an antibiotic & a cough suppressant & sent me on my way. Co-pay was only $20 with my BCBS insurance! One day later & I'm already feeling better! Check with your insurance first to see if they work with Minute Clinics - but if you don't have a regular PCP in the area, I highly recommend coming here! read more

This is an expensive, and grossly time consuming way to handle otherwise routine healthcare issues like flu shots and tb tests. The repeated cumbersome sign ins, ridiculously inaccurate wait times, and apathetic staff all combine to make the system very frustrating unless shopping for an hour or two at a CVS is a favored past time. read more

Just tried to use this clinic. Site says open till 7:30. I got there before 7:15. Door had a sign showing they were seeing a patient. No one else was around. At 7:20 the door opens. Tana is there and says no more appointments till 9 am. No one was in the room with her. Amazing that a clinic would hire someone who didn't want to do her job which is to provide minor medical services. Her employer should dock her pay at a minimum. read more
