I now have lower back problems, a huge knot in my thigh, and pain and a burning numbness in my foot. I also have a torn acl and meniscus in my other knee due to it having to compensate. My life got turned upside down and I'm now living a nightmare. They won't do anything to help me. They're reply was, " OH, I guess you'll have to get a lawyer ". This place should be shut down!

I have been fairly happy with Summit Orthopedics for the Vadnais Heights and Woodbury locations…read more The only struggle I have had is after having injections, that the doctors don't like to prescribe pain meds. I have had 4 different epidural/steroidal injections in the last 3 months and they have caused significant pain for 2-3 days afterwards and I have missed a lot of work due to this. If I was given something right away for the pain, it would have been easier to get through those 2-3 initial days and I would not have had to miss work. I also do not like the fact that it can be difficult to get any discharge instructions or work restrictions after the procedures. Whenever I leave any Allina clinics, I am given specific notes and after visit summaries. I am a person that wants everything documented so that if I have questions afterwards, I can refer to the paperwork. The doctor's and other staff members are very friendly and usually seem to care about your health moving forward. The reason why I say usually is because I have felt not listened to on a couple different occasions. I know what is going on with my body and I need to be heard regardless of other past circumstances from their other clients.
